A general rule of thumb for me with Christian media is that: if the world loves it, it’s probably not of God lol. Jesus Himself even said in John 15:18-21 that if someone or something is truly of God, then the world will hate it; but if it’s of the world, then the world will love its own 🤔

What you said is true. What you watch on these shows will warp your Bible reading. I spent over 10 years in the NAR/word of faith movement. It's been 2 years since I've been out, but I still read the Bible through the lens of those teachings. I can literally hear their voice as I read through certain passages. It's a battle. I could see this doing that especially since there's visuals to go along.

I generally don’t like films about Jesus because I feel like it’s always done inaccurately, so thankfully, I never got into The Chosen. But I know people at my church who like it.

It’s even Worse that alot of women seem to have a “ thing” for Jonathan Roumie after watching that & now when they pray they picture Jesus looking like him!😳according to a vide I saw by Doreen Virtue, who also points out the dangers & non Biblical aspects of the show
