My reaction when i found out Netflix was taking this movie off the website

The funniest part of this scene is Ferris Bueller's preoccupied reaction at 0:21. Every time I watch it, I burst out laughing, for he knows Cameron will go berserk.

*Ferris Beuller you're my hero*

Fun fact: Broderick throwing Mia Sara into the pool and then leaping in behind her was unscripted. Her screaming reaction to both was genuine, and it was left in the movie.

2:06 I sure didn't expect Ferris to get deep in this movie. He's not wrong.

The odd romantic tension between Sloan and Cameron is really interesting to me in this movie, I wonder what the reasoning for writing it into the film was.

The best part from 0:49 when Sloane turns around to look at Cameron and does a double take.

So, could the garage attendants really have driven the car that far in the time they had? Nobody asked, but yes, they probably could. And here's why:

So, the car started the day with 126.35 miles on it, and by this point has 301.7. That means it's been driven 175.35 miles (let's just call it 175). First, we can subtract a bit for Ferris and co. having to drive to Chicago in the first place- I'd guess at least 10 miles. That leaves 165 or so for the garage attendants.
Now, how long did the attendants have the car? We don't know what time the car was dropped off at the garage or picked up again, but there are a few times given in the film we could use to guess. Abe Froman's lunch reservation was for 12:00, by which time Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane have visited the Sears Tower and the Stock Exchange since dropping off the car- taking an hour at least. And later in the film, in the taxi stuck in traffic, they have 'a few hours' until 6pm, after which Ferris takes part in the parade and then they pick the car up.

So if the car arrived in the garage around 11am and was picked up again at, say, 4pm, and we know the attendants were using it basically that whole time, then they drove 165 miles in five hours. That means an average speed of 33mph, which seems feasible enough, given Chicago traffic inbetween burst of speed, plus any time they stopped for whatever reason (in the original script they stop for lunch, and have a close call with Cameron's dad).

I really have too much free time... But, I've written this now, and it might as well stay

How the hell did those guys manage to add over 130 extra miles to the car in that short of time, in Chicago too?
