honestly just sounds like Calvinism because someone can have just as many verses that prove that man has somewhat of a free will

So is it safe to say as we look back to the past in hindsight that everything that happened was exactly how GOD planned it or is some of it his discipline for our behavior? For instance, I was starting to get very successful in owning my own properties in Chicago and I decided to get something in Ohio, and it ended up leading into loss and depression and incarceration and even, so depressed that I use drugs. Was all of this God’s plan? WHY?
