One of the best tutorials on setting up a repeater/extender. I set up an old wifi router in the living room to extend the signal from the main wifi router in the basement at the other end of the house. I wasn't able to connect from upstairs before and now I get full signal bars. Thanks.

Been watching almost every other tutorial. Only yours works. Key is to enable WDS bridging on the root router. Thanks a million!

Thank you, brother. I wish I'd found this one first. I've watched 20 videos on how to do this with no luck, until I found yours, this is the ONLY video I needed to watch.

What is the speed of your main wifi and what is the speed coming in the router which you are using as repeater, is there is huge difference or only minor losses??

I am currently using an LTE Huawei Router E5573s_606. Is it at all possible to extend its range through a similar method? I do have a Tenda Router available? I do not see WDS Bridge on the router's page though.

I have Netgear R6120 (has bridge option but not WDS) as primary router and Netlink hg323dac as second router. Is it possible to make the second router get internet connection?

How does an access point or router work as a repeater?
It takes the frequency with one of the antennas and repeats it with the other antenna?
Is it possible to use an outdoor dish antenna instead of one of the antennas and connect it to a modem remotely?

Can I use the 2nd router as an extender but thru lan? Meaning when I finished setting up my 2nd router as wireless wifi extender, I will then connect my desktop computer to the 2nd router thru lan, since my usb wifi adapter is not working.

Does it still require the main router's wireless password? Can you set a different password on the repeater? Or can it only be an open network?
