It's been years since I've really given Ubuntu a look and it's much different than I remember. This review made me feel as if I was reuniting with an old friend after growing apart over the years.

Thanks Jack! Aside your arcade gaming of course ;-) Agree with you on Ubuntu and actually I will give it a good go next month (got rid of Fedora and are doing Suse Tumbleweed now, which is great). Ubuntu Budgie is great but their Mate also seems to be very special. And it's about UI/UX and i think Ubuntu is very good for that also. Looking forward to more video's!

Jack, Sorry to break the news, but Ubuntu 21.10 was released three weeks ago, and it has Gnome 40. I am using it with the zfs file system.
On my laptop, I am using 21.04 with zfs. The zfs file system is amazing. No burps, no noise, no fears about btrfs cow fails.

Jack Ubuntu didn't go too gnome 40 same as pop os it is based on Ubuntu 21.04 the few times that Ubuntu actually did something correctly is not to go to gnome40 ! There are just to many issues with gnome 40 and dash to dock still has issues you have to either manually config it or get a third party dash to dock. And many other issues. So ya Ubuntu actually got it correct this time.

Jack something strange just happened on an update. I'm going to investigate maybe you should also if it is what I think. Arch update gave me an update of apparmor and I didn't put it on this system I'm using right now. Last I knew it has to be totally configured 100% I looked at the archlinux org page but no news about it. ???? It is a good thing to have it keeps idiots out of the os and melware doesn't work if it or selinux is configured
