nice presentation of some of the biological aspects of eating...  one small quibble: neurons don't exactly travel out from the hypothalamus to other areas of brain, they actually send signals out to other areas of the brain.  good for you, doing this series!

My love of tacos has been compounded with my love of the way you pronounce it.

I just discovered your channel and I love where you are taking this. Could you do a video on the differences between love and infatuation/limerance?

i want food usually for many other reason than real hunger. when im bored, when im tired, when im thirsty, when im happy etc. the solution was to find alternative ways to deal with those urges

I was thinking about when you are talking about the fact that the decrease of hormones going to your hypothalamus makes your brain think that your fat cells are decreasing in size... I would imagine that a lack of hunger-stimulating hormones would make your brain think that you are actually getting fatter (since you are not very hungry, so you must be eating a lot or something). Or does it have some kind of gauge to recognise that it should be receiving around X amount of this hormone, and if not, there is some dysfunction in the sending of this signal, and since the signal has not been being sent successfully lately, the human has probably not been eating, and therefore their fat cells are burning off and therefore shrinking? Then since you say these hormones are not being correctly sent to the brain, does the hypothalamus then "autocorrect" in that it still sends the hunger-stimulating neurons to the brain? I think this is the theory about the hypothalamus that makes the most sense, and that is cool how the hypothalamus is smart like this, it can "pass on" a signal like convert the hormonal signal into hunger-stimulating neurons OR it can do some autocorrecting work.

Great video again. I'd like to see a video of your recording set up somewhere down the line! Do you use a set up similar to the one used by Henry from minutephysics?

Also if you're tired or thirsty you can mistake that for hunger.

When you feel hungry, that means you're running low on energy. So when your stomach growls, it tells you that it needs food and it's important to eat so you have energy

Could you correct the part about neurons moving inside your brain? It's neurotransmitters instead ^^

I haven’t been hungry for a week now why? is that because of the drugs or the fact I work for 8 hours a day? Don’t worry tho I just force myself into eating but it takes so much time and the food isn’t tasty and fun anymore. How
Do I solve that? Wait do I have depression? Fuck

My desire to eat tacos has increased. But by desire to eat out of a brain trick instead of need has decreased. However, tacos always win, so...time to go buy some!
