Breathe...You might be tempted to hold your breath while you're lifting weights. Don't hold your breath. Instead, breathe out as you lift the weight and breathe in as you lower the weight.

Please share this video with your friends and family. Wishing you and your family many Blessings! ❤️😊🙏 Dr M

Please leave your reviews if you wouldn't mind taking the time. Thank you.

I have to say that after a stroke with full paralysis of the right side at 49 and a year and a half if therapy, I knew how important breathing was. This helped me recover nearly all my strength and helped me learn to heal my muscles correctly and healthier. Watching people in gyms while doing my therapy made me realize the importance. I would call the ones breathing wrong, muscle heads. Doing just as you described, like a bench press or any exercise heavy or light weight, they would hold their breath and push with oh there might and I would see their face turn red, puffing there cheeks, arching the back etc and get up from the machine and nearly collapse. They were restricting so much blood flow to the brain properly. Now at 59, and have regained all my movement except clicking my fingers on the right side and a few other little things, but continue to work on it every day. I know I can learn to rebuild the signals another way and I still continue to breathe this way. I found the best exercise of all during this time was laying down on my back and when I do my breathing exercises, I have my hand on my stomach and feel my diaphragm go up and down, not my chest. My oxygen level and lung capacity has increased quite a bit as well.
Thank you for reminding me the importance of breathing. I've been following you recently and have learned more with your warm and kind heart to help others with so much at our finger tips that is free. I look forward to getting more and more videos to save and share.

2:30 this is applicable only on light weights. On heavy weights you will get injured by this breathing technique. On heavy squats you must breath in before you go down on eccentric phase
