Welcome to my video about the best red light therapy set up at home DIY option - in this video I'll talk about which set up I use for getting massive results with red light therapy. Also, if you haven't seen my previous red light therapy content before, consider:

So, let's consider my perspective about red light therapy set up at home DIY:

✅ Depending on the amount of money you can spend, the set-up I've got in my gym I consider somewhere close to ultimate, unless you've got lots of extra cash to spare. However, contrary to buying red light therapy tanning beds, which can costs tens of thousands of USD and even $100K+, this set-up only costs you several thousand USD and works very effectively
✅ The problem, however, using only one big panel is that it does take a while to treat your entire body. Even with a bigger body panel of 300 LEDs, you'll have to divert attention to the lower and upper body, have to turn around multiple times, etcetera
✅ If you use these red light therapy panels often, you'll spend a lot of time on using them. Only by using multiple panels can you easily treat many of the bodily areas at the same time
✅ My goal, therefore, was to treat head to toe, shoulder to shoulder, with a DIY home red light therapy set up. Of course, with a full booth, you'd cut down even more on time, but for most people, that setup is not affordable. Such a full-body setup where you don't have to turn around also takes a lot more space - for my set up you only need one corner in the house. A full body set up also costs you $10-15K USD. So, here's my setup:
✅ I also the PlatinumLED modular setup for this process, so I can control all four BioMax 900 panels from one control panel
✅ Then, I've got one panel to my side, the Mito Red MitoPRO 1500, which is quite tall. The MitoPRO perfectly covers the side of my arms, shoulders, legs, and jaw. It would be even better if I had two MitoPRO 1500 panels though, as I'd hit down all the way to my ankle, although adding a MitoPRO 750 is probably better.
✅ In total, I use a 5-10 minute session per side, and I turn around once.
✅ You might wonder why I don't just choose one brand, and that's a good question. I simply don't have two BioMax 600s, which I'd put to my sides for an even better setup because I can sync all six panels through one BioMax in that case. However, the MitoPRO is quite tall and has some alternative wavelengths, which I love. What I love about the BioMax 600s is that they're narrower and have a higher peak power output
✅ I highly recommend setting up such a system, which might take you 30 minute or an hour, as afterwards, you can treat your entire body extremely quickly. But yes, this is an expensive set up.
✅ Two more BioMax 600s to the sides also add about $1,500 USD, so in total, you're spending around $6,000 USD, without shipping and taxes included yet

Thanks, Alex, for your credible and useful information. I've got one PlatinumLED BioMax 600 that I've been using for 30 mins every morning for over a year. Next up, when space and budget allow, will be four BioMax 900s, just like your setup.

I don't understand why it's "DIY" in the title, you don't do shit yourself here as I see. Just bought - and now promote.
Surely no DIY as I see. Need to keep looking.

Does MitoRedLights have the same one touch tech to turn on all connected panels at once?

Please, how long can the device be used per day for a woman in her sixties to repair facial skin, and when do you see results?

Can you use a mirror to create the full body effect?

Do you think one large panel, like the hooga5400 would be better?

Great video as always! Question: I'm 6'4"... so did I want panels that measure 6'4" or close to there? Taller is not needed, but shorter is likely okay since the light radiates at an angle and not just perpendicularly... so perhaps some panel height of 5'4" is okay or perhaps even shorter? Need to figure this out.

Hi! I’ve purchased 2 panels but can’t figure out how to connect two panels to each other. I want to just used the simple door pulley but I don’t know to attach the second panel, any help?

Hey Alex, thanks for another insightful video. Do you prefer connecting 4 mid sized panels over one large unit such as the MitoPro Ultimate? Cost ends up being about the same-ish. I can see pros and cons for both ways. It might be nice to have the ability to reconfigure later on. Thanks ◡̈

Would buying panels overtime mean the older panels which are used on a daily basis are not as powerful as the newer panels? These units all have a max run time on them before they fully die.

Hey I really appreciate the insight

Quick Question I was about to purchase and some panels off of Amazon called Optiglo 300 leds 161 mw @6 inches what's your opinion on this brand

They seem to be decent price @899 but I'd like your insight

Alex, Love the set-up. What is the black pole that the side panel is attached to? I have the mitomega original panel that needs to hang on something. Right now I use the back of a door but it's a bit clunky that way. Thanks, Diane

This has helped with your gum disease? How so? Did your dentist say it took off plaque or killed bad bacteria?

Alex - do you think two panels facing each other (face to face) could potentially damage the units? Even if you stood in the middle, light from one panel would hit the opposite one. Perhaps this is inconsequential, but just curious. Thank you!!

Do you have a dedicated circuit for the 4 that are connected? Appreciate the vids thanks!

Hey Alex,

Thanks for the great extensive reviews! Nice setup you got there, but also on the pricey side and not a budget setup.

Would you also consider stacking up two Mitopro 1500 + 750 panels (4 panels total) to cover the whole front or back? The width of panels is a bit smaller, but for smaller people ideal and more alternative wavelengths to benefit from. Mitopro sells it for $3.300, -. With your code $3.135.

Compared to 4 Biomax 600: $3.416, 20 (after your code applied)
Compared to 4 Biomax 900: $4.370 (after your code applied)

It’s a tough comparison and decision. Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers, Thijs
