LOVE this Channel! As for LED i love love love them also :) shame about the price of them though... but totally worth it if it's within budget!

As a researcher myself, I am so grateful that there is a channel that actually lists down the scientific papers, rather than just saying it is supported by science! So thankful Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield! I hope and wish that your channel becomes one of the top channels for dermatology!

Loving your content! As a teenager I am now realising taking good care of your skin is way more important then knowing how to cover it up with makeup.

Love this review ❤️ I been using the SkinGenics LED mask for like 3 months and been noticing very good results. It was also pretty budget friendly and is rechargeable.

I have been using the omnilux for about 6 months. 10 minutes, four to five days a week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! My dark spots have disappeared and my lips look more firm and lush. In fact, my dermatologist asked if I had lip injections. My overall skin just looks more dewey. Can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now. I am 60. Never too late to start good skin care habits.

As a skeptic, I am so grateful for this channel! Straight forward, evidence based information- but also very charming and enjoyable to watch, but without the BS of influencers who are trying to sell you something.

Watching this in January 2023 and would love to get an updated report from them on the effectiveness of current models and their prices. Prices have gone up since March 2021!

Hey folks! Just wanted to share my own experience with red light therapy after diving into the research you've discussed. I’ve been using a red light panel from Future Form Official, a company based in Norway. Honestly, the results have been pretty impressive. I've struggled with chronic back pain for years, and regular sessions with this panel have really made a difference in reducing my pain and inflammation.
What sold me was not just the effectiveness but also the price point – it's surprisingly affordable compared to other options out there. The panel is well-built and powerful, and I felt like I got a lot of value for what I paid. I’ve been recommending it to friends who are looking for similar relief without breaking the bank. Thanks for all the informative content here; it really helped me make a confident choice!

I was sitting in the dark with my led mask on...
And then my brother came in, he didn't know I was in the house.
When he saw me he literally screamed and fell off the floor as he tried to run.
He thought I was an alien or something 😂😂

My esthetician puts a red/blue led mask on me to treat my cystic acne. It is extremely effective!

I love that you brought in the conversation around deeper skin tones and how products impact our skin

I got the Dennis Gross Mask and I actually had quite a good effect in reducing my acne. Got lucky and picked it up during the Sephora sale and got it at 20% off. As someone dealing with adult acne, I feel it's worth investing in it along with my retinols.

I've been reading so many studies on wavelength and wound care - it's so fascinating. One study stood out, 60ish participants over 12 wks, control group just washed their face and used blue light therapy for 10 mins. The others washed, used AHA then did blue light therapy. The aha group showed a huge reduction in acne. I have been doing this for 6 months, about twice a week and I can count on one hand the pimples I've had. Take that, cystic acne.
Also, I read a lot of studies for wound care, healing and red light therapy. It's so fascinating how it supports collagen production. After wearing N95s for my 12hr ICU shifts, I do 3 to 5 mins of red light therapy to help my skin maintain its elasticity.
Total humble brag but my skin looks way better than before covid and I wear so many masks. I love knowing there are others out there who geek out over these studies too!

When I fell down the skincare rabbit hole, I bought every device imaginable. I was easily swayed by influencers who may or may not have been coerced with free swag. I love your channel. I love that you reference the sources of your studies. I love evidence-based theories and opinions. I love the geeky science behind it. I love that I am able to trust you both implicitly. You don't have longevity here without trust.

When I lived in London about 25 years ago RLT was new to the market for anti-aging. At a salon I went to one of the workers was using the RLT lamp. I actually watched her skin look younger over a few months. I was sold. I’ve been using one off and on since then. I’m 60 next month. RLT and collagen supplements have kept me looking 10 years younger. I’m always getting asked what I do.

Cool video - my wife got one of these but hasn't been using it, so I've started using it! Good to know that there is science behind it and it can work!

Thank you for letting us know that red light is safe for dark skin tones!

Loooove your video/s! The only issue I have is the :”Talk to your dermatologist.” Unfortunately, in my experience, not many are so proactive and keeping up with trends and newest research, and, so far, whenever I tried to talk to my dermatologist, I’ve been ignored or mocked for my questions. But I guess that’s why I, as well as others, follow your channel so thank you for doing this 😊

That’s exactly why I like following up my microneedling facials with an LED session for my clients. At first I thought I was imagining the results but it keeps working so nicely

Thank you for this video! It helped with my decision for red light therapy and against microcurrent technology. I just wish someone would send me a mask! 🤣 the price point is the killer.
