Thank you for this video. For those looking to have the second level drop down work on different rows. This is what worked for me. Place all the named cells in the same column. (rather then separate as it's showing on the video) Once you do that you can drag down the second level drop down (ensure you do the inderect steps in data validation) and it should give you the options based on what you chose on the fist level drop down.

Hi,
thanks for this tutorial. I need to select data from a pulldown menu but the corresponding data will be the nearby cell.
For instance, the values between B2 and B5 are listed in the dropdown list in another sheet, namely "Data" and when I select e.g. B3 in another sheet namely "operation", I would like to retrieve A3 from "Data" sheet, without listing B3 itself in "operation" sheet. Do you have a readily available tutorial ?

I have done this using if else command....the output is same...but here the catche is that...once i select the model like S7....then if i change the brand to apple ..then the model shall change into blank ...how can we do that to avoid error....

How to extend formula for the entire column. When Iam dragging down it is not working and when im applying indirect formula to the entire column it is still not working. It is taking the indirect formula only for one cell at a time
