I'll just share my experience since many people in the replies seem to be interested. I am very pale with light brunette hair, sensitive skin prone to redness. I did the armpits and legs. I have keratosis pilaris (little red bumps on legs in my case). On the armpits I didn't get any pain relief, I shaved the day before I went, I didn't use ice or anything and overall at the start it wasn't too painful but then it started being painful (like if I was getting a constant sunburn pretty much ), the redness went away after a few minutes and the lady who was doing the procedure stopped several times so that it wouldn't be so painful. On the legs (where I have KP) I did not feel pain, I did get the rubber band feeling once in a while though. My skin is much softer already after the first procedure which is a side effect (a great side effect) that I did not expect.
That's my experience for the first procedure, I'll keep anyone that's interested updated about the pain during the next procedures as well as about how succesfull the hair removal is :)

Best decision I made! I have thick black hair and a lot of hair on my armpit. I hated wearing tank tops for when I play sports or go out in the summer. It's been 2 years and never had to shave at all! there is still tiny unnoticeable hair that I see, but you'll need a magnifying glass to find them. Pain was very durable, depending on a person. Mine did not hurt as much from a 1 - 10 scale. I would say a 2. Each armpit literally took 1 minute to laser.

Honestly great experience. I have very light, sensitive skin that is prone to redness, but medium brown hair. I've been doing my upper lip, chin and neck. Results are amazing. About 50% of the hair disappeared after the first session. I am now after session 5 and barely any hairs are left. I'm thinking of doing my armpits, bikini and legs too. Who has time to shave.

I just got my 13th laser hair removal treatment and the results have been getting worse; the hair seems to be growing back faster and thicker than before. This is unfortunately a common occurrence and should be talked about more.

I had my full face and neck done 1st session roll on next month for next one. Was painful in a few areas but no way as bad as waxing or threading guys the pain seems minimal compared to threading full face it was all done in 15-20 mins. Wish I had done it sooner.

i"m on my 17th year and i have A LOT of hair on my armpit and i usually remove them by waxing (which is a bit hassle for me since i need to go to a waxing salon like every month) so my mom promised me that i'll get laser hair removal when i turn 18 which is in a few weeks no that's why i'm watching vids like this :') oh gosh wish me luck

It doesn't hurt, it's more comfortable than waxing. I just paid 1 thousand dollars for 6 sessions hope this works!
