Dude here, started my laser treatment plan a few days ago on my back. I think since guys don’t typically go through painful cosmetic treatments, we don’t know what to expect: it SUCKED. But I’m confident the long term benefits will be worth it. As a guy there’s nothing worse than having to ask others to shave parts you can’t reach. Can’t wait until my natural sweater is gone for good 😂

I’m a dude that’s getting it as I suffer with my big ass pores and foliculitus and also sweated a lot but this has solved virtually all those issues. I feel far more confident as a result and would recommend it to anyone. The staff in these places are generally very friendly and as weird a thing as it is getting your full body zapped they always try to make sure you fee comfortable. If you’re thinking of doing it my advice would be definitely do but just be sure the place has good reviews. It can be costly but totally worth it

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm hispanic & white but my hair is very thick and coarse (like yours was). It's difficult to take advice from girls that simply don't know the struggle of having that hair type. This definitely encouraged me to look into getting treatment.

I’m definitely going to get laser hair removal. I don’t even care how much it cost. Thank you for sharing your experience. ♥️

I had underarm laser hair removal and it def works! Keep in mind though that you'll need booster shots, at least yearly in my case, if you want to always be hair free.

Just had my first appointment and left crying lol. It was extremely painful but the results are noticeable even after the 1st treatment, so it’s worth it!

I have been getting laser on my full body for over a year! I was soooo hairy to begin with had super dark and thick hair and now I shave maybe once a month tbh I really only shave before a laser treatment... not gonna lie the longer in between appointments the more hair that will grow back. stay committed and keep going every 3-6 weeks for appointment for the first 10-12. now I have done about 8 and I have noticed an extreme loss of hair! my chin sideburns, bum and private parts are areas that the hair tends to grow back sooner but this is hormonal. I would 10000% recommend this to anyone interested def a hue confidence boost.

I'm white & blonde. I did laser for 2 years in 2014/2015. (Cost around $1, 000)
It did not remove 100% of my hair. I'd say 50% off my lower legs (all blonde above knee)
& 70% on my underarms. It did not get my blonde or brown hairs.
The lighter your skin the better. The darker your hair the better.
Winter is best.

I save money on razors but recommend not to fully give up shaving. I’m a natural dirty ginger and I’m a white girl. It’s 💯 percent to do with hair pigment because the machine picks up on your pigment in your hair follicles. Also, if you’re getting older and getting gray hair, get it done soon!!! 🖤

Electrolysis is better. No touch ups needed, hormones / sun exposure / sweating don’t impact the treatment, actually permanent results!

as someone who basically has to shave every two days, definitely am thinking of getting either laser or use an epilator. removing hair is getting way too time consuming ahh!!

My girlfriend is a laser technician and she says its important for her to know your ethnic make up because she needs to tune the laser to prevent certain pigmentations from reacting with the laser. Ideally she needs to know what ethnicity of your parents are so that she can make judgement on what settings she needs to use, particularly dark skin tones need careful consideration as they are more sensitive. Very, very technical stuff. Any tattoos need covering up in the session and this can be time consuming for intricate shapes. She has the patience of a saint!

I díd the “Brazilian” but it grows back. I’m 43 so I don’t think its hormones. Maybe it’s my hair color. I also have a lot of tattoos but they always tape them off. I had it done two years ago and had one full “treatment” over the course of 3 months. I have had to go back to get a few touch ups. I have to go back again because it grew back again. It’s just taken longer. It worked much better under my arms than the “Brazilian.” Ask them for ice and numbing cream before you get laser removal.
I love my results… I just wish they’d last years instead of weeks or months.

This is really interesting from a client point of view thank you. I'm a wax therapist, looking into the training for laser hair removal and this is very helpful.

Let's keep in mind she is doing a 6 year check in - so prices have changed. Full body for me cost 26k with a 50% discount it around 14k
