Good timing! Now, I know what kind of notetaking method I will use for certain uses.
My theory:
Active recall - Cornell Method
> Active recall works better if you understand the subject
Understanding concepts - Mapping and Charting

Conclusion:
My lecture notes are messy so I will reorganize it into cornell method or just type in the questions to Anki or other quizzing apps. Next, I will start understanding the concepts and use mind mapping to get the Big Picture. Charting method is for deeper analysis (optional: I would only use it if I have free time).
I will test this out for the next semester and wonder if it works.

For subjects that require mathematics....idk. practice?

learned cornell in middle school, absolutely hated it bc the notes part was just outline format but doing the question and repose idea is brilliant !!

in the beginning of middle school, i always used those charts but as the amount of material increased and i couldn’t fit everything into a neat chart i tried out the cornell, mapping, and just bullet point notes! i think something to remember is that just as different people have different note taking styles, different topics are better suited towards different types of notes as well :)
