Hey! just wanted to say, during my class, when my lecture’s were too quick i just used to write fast and un-neatly then after i got back home from school i used to write those notes in a other book neatly so basically yeah, that’s a tip too ig.

I do agree that using a pen makes the writing stand out more, but some people like using a pencil as their preferred writing utensil so what I’m trying to say is you don’t need to use a pen, just use whatever works for you

What I recommend, is that if a lecture is fast then just quickly take the notes (make the handwriting neat as possible) and then later you can add titles and fancy stuff to it. It saves time

well, my tip is that:
1. Pick a colour marker and a lighter colour (same hue), and put them near you.
2. Write the title in the dark marker, no need for calligraphy, just write it in bold font, and start at the left corner. If your handwriting is already scribbly, write your title the same! If there is still room left in your title, use the lighter marker to draw a straight line from the end of the title to the end of the page.
3. If the notes are too quick to take, scribble them down on paper, then rewrite them in the notebook to prevent messing up the page.
4. Highlight with the lighter colour marker! But wait until the ink is dry enough!
5. If your paper size is too big or spacious, fold it- or split it in half so that you can fill more notes into the page, also make your notes more presentable!
Those are my tips that helped me take neat + quick notes! I hope that it can help you guys too!

here's a tip for those who r struggling to take aesthetic notes in class:

- just write in a pencil, with bad handwriting. come back home and decorate it.
- understand the concept IN the school and then write what you understood in your own language, at your home. helps with better understanding
- research, research from your textbooks and Google and write what you've understood.

° why do all of these tips help?
• they help bc if you right your notes in what you understand, it's gonna be efficient and easy during tests and exams.

° why do I have to write all that at home
• bc you want aesthetic notes. it's not necessary to write everything in school. sometimes, certain teachers won't even allow you to write.

a better tip: keep two notebooks if you can. one for messy, fast lecture notes. the other for neat, aesthetic notes. its great to rewrite summarizations and lessons too! helps with memorization.

Another tip: Highlight stuff that’s REALLY important. So later you don’t have to read the whole paragraph, you can just read the highlighted parts
ONE MORE TIP: If you have time before school, make the decorations and all that stuff before class so you can just write it down in class instead of just rushing to get the decorating done during class.
