How to refill butane lighter

Had to make my own nozzle. Didnt know I had to press it so firmly for about 5 secs. Immediately could tell it was gonna work because there was no spillage and the liquid took a bit before leaving the tube into my switchblade/lighter. I love my new bday present as it now works as it should. Good looks bro

In the second step turning the gas level all the way down as you said is it always towards the right?

Do you know why when the flame is lit it does not hold and it seems that only air comes out? Is it perhaps because of the type of gas used? or the cigarette lighter is damaged. I bought it on Amazon

why turn down flame adjustor before filling???

Easy fix just throw the damn thing in the freezer 10 minutes then fill it. You won't waste your butane. He saying to bleed off the butane. Which will have a cooling effect on the liquid because it is boiling off at atmospheric pressure. Butane boils off at -44 degrees at atmospheric pressure. If you throw it in your freezer at home 10 minutes. You can bring the temperature of the lighter down drastically causing the liquid to condense and make less pressure. Thus making it easier for you to fill your lighter after you take it out of the freezer. not wasting your butane

Wow! You have a beautiful lighter! By the way, I have an old Japanese Tokai plastic long lighter (for BBQ) that has no apparent nozzle for refill, but it has a pull tab/cord that seems to do nothing. Do you have any idea where the nozzle could be on this type of setup?
