Even if you don't consider yourself an "angry person," we have all experienced situations that get us fired up...or even fed up. The truth is our feelings are trying to tell us something. So rather than just "manage" our anger, we can interview our anger and find out what's going on and what needs to be tended to.

This episode is a part of the newest season of Therapy & Theology: "You Asked ... We're Answering." Through podcast reviews, direct messages on social media, and more, Lysa TerKeurst; Licensed Professional Counselor Jim Cress; and Proverbs 31 Ministries' Director of Theological Research, Dr. Joel Muddamalle, collected your most asked questions. Now they're spending an entire season answering!

2:59 that part. We just want someone to hear us. We wanna talk about something that nobody else does and feeling unheard is enough to drive someone to complain about literally anything else. 🙃

Great episode!
Dr. Joel, no apologies needed. You typically have the least speaking time for most episodes, but all your inputs are solid gold!

That interviewing your anger is golden. The questions that we’re given and even what to add to the soil once we find something …was amazing. Thank you for this. ❤️❤️

This spoke deeply to my heart.
The hurt and frustration from another leaves such unforgiveness. But to really grasp that I’m just the victim of their jealousy. This allows me to see that person with different eyes and for what they can’t see. BUT GOD…will use this for His good plan. Thank you all for speaking such TRUTH!

It’s like I have exploded after holding his sin in my heart for so many years. I don’t even recognize myself with my words of rage. It’s as if a wound was ripped open and there is nothing but gangrene. Please pray for me.

Don’t you think Joseph forgave them before the banquet because he couldn’t be carrying the sin of unforgiveness all that time?

Once you have interviewed anger and identified what it is what do you do with the hurt fear injustice and frustration

How do I get rid of bitter anger towards my sister in law for not taking care of her mother who has dementia? My anger always stims from when I feel like people are not doing what is morally right. I know it is MY issue, but I get so angry when I hear her voice that I start shaking.
