Ben's producers are intent on testing the limits of his sanity...and we are here for it.

The lady singing that vaccination song was one of the most frightening things I’ve ever seen. If you have children, keep them as far away from her as possible. She is enough to give children nightmares!

Okay the DID crap makes me so mad. I used to feel so ashamed by my diagnosis of DID from prolonged sexual abuse from a young age. It’s not fun. It’s not as extreme as these people who are faking it, it’s horrible. To disassociate and not know what you have done as an alter is terrifying. It has taken me years I’m talking 16 years to learn how to heal and I don’t understand why all of these people on TikTok find it something fun to fake.

People with actual “multiple personalities” are 1) Incredibly rare (I’ve seen one in 22 years of clinical practice as a board certified psychiatrist) and 2) The component personalities are completely *unaware of one another*. The person you showed likely has Borderline Personality Disorder, and has latched onto “multiple personalities” to explain their various mood states, which often fluctuate wildly during the day. Because they lack ego strength to tie themselves together, they begin to regard each mood state as a different “person”. But clearly these personalities are aware of one another. It’s more like a maladaptive coping mechanism than a mental disorder.

I’m just grateful to have Ben Shapiro to be able to laugh and cringe at this stuff with.

Ben's reaction to the singing lady is like someone's reaction to his childhood nightmare 😂 😂.

The guy in the store handled that very well, and I love how the one guy from the other side of the store emphasized his point by shouting "PUT YOUR MASK UP" as he went to demonstrate what he was doing the first time, only to be yelled at for it again. So glad we're out of Covid mask hell but the world is still pretty broken, here's hoping things improve sooner than later and people can start coming to their senses and sort of "wake up" or something.

I’m pretty confident that lady doesn’t have DID. One of the main signs of DID is that they have different mannerisms for each alter. It’s literally like talking to a completely different person. The only thing that changed was how fast that lady was speaking and how loudly she was speaking, both of which are consciously changed. Her actually mannerisms (ie she rubs her eye area a lot) are very similar in each clip, which is an unconscious movement, and a pretty clear indication that she is faking DID for attention

That "we will get to play together" lady freaked the literal crap out of me

The editor needs an award for sitting for hours scrubbing and editing this footage into the video

He is the brave heart here and also Ben for enduring the torture

I’m 30 and returned to university 2 years ago. I heard my 18-22 year old neighbors out front and they seemed to be trying to one-up each other with who had the most psychological disorders, medications, phobias, etc. talking about supposed trauma with zero reservations and acting as if they were seeing who could lift the most weight at a gym. As having a relatively troubled life myself, I couldn’t imagine talking about it in the way they were. I’ve overheard these same conversations all over campus and it’s bizarre. It seems like being some weird gender or having the most named psychological deficiencies is now a fad for people to feel cool and gain attention. Blows me away

I was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder 2 decades ago and have been integration therapy, cognitive therapy and emdr off and on for years, namely when trauma occurs and makes me symptomatic. This person at 2:22 is not dissociative...it seems people want to have DID because it looks "interesting " this is not DID. It is a for of munchausen syndrome and I am SO sick of this crap. It harms the very small percentage of people like myself to get help and fix it. It gives everyone the wrong idea... and trust me Hollywood has done enough damage on the portrayal. It is not something anyone would want to advertise, and I'm only speaking on it because it is beyond ridiculous.

And yes, I speak of myself as singular.

Ps, great video Ben. As usual.

I just began watching this series. I feel so very bad that Ben has to go through this torture, but we enjoy his commentary.. thoroughly.

It was at least 13 years ago a man graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington who’s legal name is Benjamin Dover. When Benjamin was called up to receive his diploma the dean had a great since of humor and called him Ben Dover. Seeing the CNN News clip where they made up fictitious names with Ben Dover being one of them I was reminded that there is a man with that actual name, and he’s a lawyer at that. LOL!

I love how Ben said “oh no” before the Demon even said anything

I didn’t realize how conservative I was until I signed up for tik tok. I also now hate the internet but these are great! Thank you for the laughs!

I have a friend that has DID. I remember clearly when she switched between alters in front of me. She didn't tell me she has it because she was scared I would leave her, in her words "as many others did". She is the first and only person I know that has it. It's rough but they(she and her alters) and me are getting together thru this.

I am a diagnosed D.I.D sufferer. To see someone using this very serious condition to raise their own self esteem, and come across as a joke, is deeply disturbing. I have spent many years attempting to 'combine' all of me - without a lot of success. My issues have cost me 2 marriages and countless friends. At least now I have learned to manage, as best I can, this condition. Mental health issues are not for Social media.
