To the woman asking why God doesn't write his own book... I have kids. I give my kids chores. I don't do that because it makes my life so much easier. Most of the time, it makes it harder because I have to ask them to do it multiple times and then I have to walk through it with them to help them learn to do the chores better. Because the chores aren't for me, the chores are to teach them how to work and how to do things the way I would like them done.

The people who keep saying Mary was impregnated without her consent need to reread. The angel came to her and told her she'd been seen and chosen to bear the Messiah, and then answered her questions about how she would conceive, clearly showing that she had not yet conceived and had the the choice to reject the role. Nothing was set in stone until she verbally accepted the role offered.

Ex-satanist, ex-atheist, ex-hellenic pagan here: atheism is a rabbit hole not everyone falls down and I fell down it and stayed for almost 6 years. My mom's a Christian who never read and doesn't believe in the Bible and my dad's an ex-christian pastor atheist. They made it pretty easy to fall down the rabbit hole. Started reading the Bible at the second darkest point in my life. I barely made it out the first time and God's word is the only reason I'm still here. All the arguments I've heard against Christianity have been disolved to me, I see all the nonsensical lies I've been told. God help these people, they've all been lied to and are so deep inside that lie they'll never give you a chance.
