I have shared this so many times. My Objibwe grandmother taught me, “ before white man came we conquered other people and were conquered by others. We enslaved other people and were ourselves enslaved. It is not the way of the “white” man but the way of all man throughout history”
People need to stop with the victim mentality and keep growing together for a better future. Learn from all of our pasts and move on! 💕

My grandpa was full blooded Native American and my descendents walked the trail of tears. The main street in my home town has trail of tears signs signifying that it's part of the trail of tears. All my family celebrate Thanksgiving it is a celebration of family and friends as well as being thankful for the good things in our lives.

This is why I like Ben. He's not here to just deny anything, he just wants to lay down the facts and get the stories straight

We can't convince each other what a woman is but can tell you the what, when, where, and why pilgrims actions, motivations, and comprehension! It's amazing how intuitive these people are and yet not a single one spends time learning history from actual Indians!

Crazy how easily people can latch onto a lie or exaggeration then base their entire existance around it.

A British dude came down on me once because I said Thanksgiving was my favorite holiday, taking about how Americans colonized the Native's land, yadda yadda.... I reminded him America didn't exist then, that it was the English who were colonizing, and that the Pilgrims in particular were English people looking to escape religious persecution from their own government.

He kinda shut up after that and I was able to continue discussing turkey recipes lol.

The part of Joe Biden suddenly appearing and smelling the Aztec man was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm native, my parents are from two southwest nations. We always celebrated Thanksgiving. For us, it had nothing to do with pilgrims in the northeast hundreds of years ago. It was and still is about celebrating family with us, remembering family gone, and eating some real good food until we all needed to find a corner to sleep it off in while our dads, uncles, and older cousins screamed at the tv because someone fumbled an easy pass.

I think the original Thanksgiving was a beautiful example of people being human first & not focused on labels. Just helping one another out of kindness ❤🙏🏼

I'm nearly 60 and I've never met a person who hates thanksgiving, nor have I ever heard anyone talking bad about thanksgiving. What I have heard year after year on this holiday is how grateful people are for the good things in their lives.

The best thing about Ben Shapiro is that he's funny even when he's not trying to be 🤣

A true comedian.

What do you want me to do?” HE BLOCKED ME!! LMAO they literally don’t have an answer, they just scream racist and run away !!

Ben, every lefty I know (I know a lot, as I am a dancer) had posted about being against Thanksgiving, calling it "a day of genocide." Today, my feed is FLOODED with those EXACT people eating with their family/celebrating the holiday. "Look at what I cooked!" But I thought y'all didn't wanna partake?? Okay. Someone throw me a beach towel cuz my head is swimming.

Very accurate history Ben. I grew up near the Onieda nation and we learned the history of Thanksgiving from both sides pretty much like you tell it.. Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving!

I actually took a lot of time to research. A native group that lived near the coast took the pilgrims under their wing. The natives taught them how to farm along with other basic necessities. They also traded with each other. They exchanged pearls for things like guns. Thanksgiving was celebrated after the pilgrims helped the natives defeat their rival tribe, with the guns they brought over. They celebrated with a meal afterwards that would be known as thanksgiving

I can pretty much guarantee everyone who claims to hate thanksgiving still sits down and has a meal with their family…

These people scolding everyone on TikTok want to act all morally superior and stuff.
What a life it must be telling everyone: "No happiness everyone! Some bad things happened in the past so you MUST feel bad! You shall NOT be happy!"
They must be so miserable.

My wife and children are proud chippewa natives, im an Irish catholic.
As I type my wife is in the kitchen cooking up a storm.
She sees it as a time to do something that brings family together.
She doesn't care about the narrative people come up with.
It's a time we're we can all be together and enjoy each other.
