Stop training your abs wrong!! When doing things like rope crunches, crunches, leg raises, etc. think about flexing the SPINE. When you are primarily breaking at the hips, you’re utilizing your hip flexors more than your abdominal muscles. So for this exercise, choose a position to keep your pelvis and maintain that position. I’m not sure if keeping your hips high or low really matters, and it could come down to comfort, but regardless of where you decide to sit, stay there, and focus on achieving spinal flexion and extension.
