"Your grace, your translation is not quite accurate--because it won't matter in season 8." - Missandei

He also forgot to mention that it was Ned Stark, his father, who spared her and her unborn child.

It's very crazy to see all these characters together after 6 seasons not knowing each other.

My favorite part about this scene is that Missandei corrects Dany's translation, and Dany lets her. A lesser ruler, like Cersei or Joffrey, would've been offended by the interruption and maybe even punished the person, but Missandei speaks with such confidence because she knows that Daenerys respects her and her opinion. It really shows how connected Dany is to her people and how different she is from previous and present rulers. Such solid characterization that got shucked out the window

Gods, Melisandre's valyrian sounds so soothing to the ear. I don't even know if its good, but I just know that she's speaks smoothly. It sounds foreign, exotic, but regal all at the same time. Beautiful fantasy language. And when she reverts back to common tongue, it actually feels like the character's secondary language. This may be a credit to the actress. That, or english may well be her actual secondary language. It probably is, she is too convincing.

Little surreal to still see dialogue and characterizations this solid so close to the final act

Dani’s face when Tyrion says he’s an excellent judge of character. ❤️❤️

Any man who must say "I am an excellent judge of character" is no true excellent judge of character

Daenerys should have never left the Essos/Meereen. She rose from beggar to a Khaleesi to a Queen, and she was beloved by a lot of her subjects because she tried to do what she thought was right, particularly as it came to slavery. She reignited her own dynasty. Trying to take the Iron Throne was a mistake. She went from being viewed in a positive light as "Mhysa" and the Breaker of Chains to simply a Targaryen conqueror. RIP plot/character development :(

One of my favorite scene of Melisandre. She was fanatical and burnt non-believers as sacrifices; after losing faith from unfulfilled visions and regaining it from resurrecting Jon she is more humble

Melisandre’s pronunciation in High Valyrian here was so good I can't stop watching it

Daenerys should have never left the East, Tyrion once told her “perhaps u should remain here where u can do the most good”

“And I am an excellent judge of character” didn’t age very well for Tyrion

Tyrion's reaction to hearing about his old friend: Jon Snow going from bastard to Lord Commander & finally King in The North is simply priceless :)

I just really wish that Tyrion could've told Danearys right than & there that Ned Stark was completely against Robert Baratheon's attempt to assassinate both her & her unborn child :(

Dani should absolutely know this. One of her most famous lines is... "High Valyrian is my mother tongue". But in this scene, it almost seems as if she knows little to nothing of her own language.

The Prince who was promised doesn’t quite matter at all. All you have to do to beat the Night King is move your dagger from your left hand to your right hand. He’ll let you do that, and he’ll even hold you within arms reach so you can do it more easily. His army is irrelevant. They’ll allow you to run past all of them and kill their leader. If only Azor Ahai knew that, then he never would’ve killed his lover to make Lightbringer and beat the Others. He would’ve just practiced dropping and catching his dagger.

"I believe you have a role to play...."
Yeah, until these dumbass of showrunners decided in the season 8 that the prophecy and all the scenes that was made about it before were useless. My poor Melisandre, the narrative arc of your character has been so much not respected....
