It must be so awkward for Jon to sit between Sansa and Daenerys, lol.

Everyone is coming at Sansa about how she feels threatened by Daenerys because she's in love with Jon or doesnt want to lose her position or is jealous etc. The truth is she doesnt trust Targaryens because of how they destroyed the Starks in the past. Burning her grandfather alive, burning her uncle alive, kidnapping and raping her aunt Lyanna (as far as they know). In her mind they are no different from the Lannisters. She is scared Daenerys is nothing more than another Cersei. That is why she doesnt trust Daenerys, she cant trust her. Not yet, not without proof of her loyalty and heart. Sansa cant risk being betrayed again, or losing her family again.

Is it just me or did Sansa 'sound" like Cersei in that finale question - the stress she puts on "eat" sounded exactly how Cersei would say it!

Jon looks at Sansa like 'help'
And Sansa just like cold ass 'you brought this on yourself' stare. I don't know why I found that so funny.

Jon told a lie, I can't believe it. He did not have to give up his crown to save the North. Dani was already on board with defeating the Night King and told Jon so. He bent the knee because of how he felt for her.

honestly i totally understand why sansa is pissed. The northerners don't put their trust in jon snow just to let him give up his crown to some foreign girl that they don't know. Its not about title, its about keeping the northerners loyal and together. Without a trusted leader, the North will remain divided.  Dany cannot just march in and expect everyone to respect her as the rightful queen. If she really is a great leader like she claims she is, she should have offered to support the fight against the dead army without forcing everyone to bend the knee. She needs to prove herself worthy of the throne.

Jon looked to Sansa. Sansa just looked at him. You did this, you bent the knee, because you were stupid. I warned you, you didn't listen.

Sansa asking about feeding the soldiers and dragons is the first time the show acknowledged logistics.

Sansa had to point out their lack of provisions for the Army & dragons, b/c it's the LONG NIGHT during a true WINTER. How is she to know how long the battle (seige) w/ the NK & Walkers will last?! Armies need food, the LIVING need food to defeat the Dead. It's a damn good point that she made & I don't blame her for being pragmatic & 4 pointing that out. Dany, the Queen, & Jon should've thought about that mess otw to Winterfell & brought their own provisions. Now it's becomes Sansa's duty as Lady of Winterfell to correct this gross error.

People calling sansa rude and annoying because she care about how to feed her people, which wouldn't have been a problem if Daenerys hadn't burn all the food of the Reach...

Funny how Jon looks to Sansa, not Daenerys, when Lyanna calls him out for giving up his crown. Since he bent the knee to Dany, it'd make more sense for him to look to Dany & in his speech to focus on the benefits of her army/dragons, as well as his FAITH in her as his Queen. But Jon merely says he does what he did out of DUTY which is half-true.

I think the biggest issue with this scene is that Daenerys handled meeting Sansa for the first time completely wrong. She all but called Sansa "little dove" and to me it shows that Daenerys was completely unprepared for who she would actually meet, and it's either a reflection on Daenerys' advisers or on Daenerys herself, for ignoring them. She had Sansa's former-husband Lord Tyrion, who knew Sansa was smarter than she let on, and Jon, her brother, who knows exactly what the North has endured, and what he and Sansa fought to take back - and specifically why - to tell Daenerys about Sansa, what she has endured/achieved, and why it was so important. Perhaps Daenerys wasn't advised, but if she didn't ask about the woman ruling the North, that's almost worse, because it shows a lack of interest in what the North has endured recently, and the kind of people who will be ruling Westeros in her name. If Daenerys had looked around Winterfell and commented on how well the castle was thriving, considering recent events, or how impressed she is that Sansa has organised preparations for winter, it would have shown that Daenerys had taken an interest in the suffering of the people of the North, and acknowledged who had freed them - even if she had tacked it on at the end that she appreciated it, as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms etc.

Daenerys' greatest strength, but also her greatest weakness, is her unshakable belief in her own mythology: She's becoming more grandiose, and arrogant, and it's almost like she believes she alone has suffered and endured what she has. Sansa and Daenerys have both had similar journeys:

They endure the cruel torment of a madman: Joffrey/Viserys
Had to adapt to a foreign culture: Dothraki/King's Landing 'Game of Thrones'
Are abused and raped by the husbands they are sold to: Khal Drogo/Ramsay Bolton
Find unusual, noble protectors: The Hound/Ser Jorah and Ser Brienne/Ser Barristan
Are forced into loveless marriages: Tyrion Lannister/Hizdahr zo Loraq
Have intense belief in themselves: Sansa, returning to Winterfell "You cannot frighten me"; the dragons hatching, the embodiment of the strength and symbolism of House Targaryen "the Last Dragon"
Have diverse mentors: Littlefinger, Cersei, The Hound ("The world is built by killers... so you better get used to looking at them"), Lord Tyrion and Ser Jorah, Xaro Xhoan Daxos, Ser Barristan, Missandei, Grey Worm, Daario, Lord Tyrion
Free people from brutal, sadistic overlords: Unsullied, slaves of Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen/the Free Folk, and the smallfolk of the North being flayed alive and hunted by dogs by the Boltons
United different cultures under one banner, for one cause: the Unsullied, the Dothraki, the Ironborn to 'take back her throne with fire and blood'/the Free Folk, the Northmen and the Knights of the Vale to fight the Night King, 'all the living North' to fight the army of the dead
I'd say Sansa had no dragons, but she reunited with Jon: The world changed for Daenerys when the dragons hatched, and Sansa took back control of her life once she was reunited with Jon

Had Daenerys acknowledged that she at least knew a handful of the things Sansa survived, and shown her respect for what Sansa had achieved, things would have been very different.

The difference in tone between Daenerys meeting Yara Greyjoy and her meeting Sansa Stark is remarkable: She acknowledged Yara as a leader, but treated Sansa like a little girl.

1:57 He really looked to Sansa for help. No life lines over here my guy. They all warned you they wouldn't react well to this.
