When Melisandre tells Arya about all the eyes she'll shut forever, she is very clearly meaning she'll kill all kinds of people. The showrunners just retconned and changed the order of what she did in 8x03 to make it seem like they had foreshadowed Arya killing the NK all along when that is definitely not the case. The showrunners admitted they only decided Arya would be the one to kill him 3 years before the final season and they only decided to do that because they didn't want Jon to do it.
