10 Lies We All Believed About Disney Princesses

There are around one billion different Disney theories running around the internet that it’s hard to keep track of them all. People say that The Little Mermaid and Hercules are cousins, that Carl from UP is actually dead, and that Jane from Tarzan is actually the great grand daughter of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It doesn’t take much for things to get out of control. One person can simply make a blog post about a theory they have, and it takes seconds for that to snowball into total theory mania. While some theories are clearly made by fans who are just spiralling down the rabbit hole, there are a couple that actually make sense. Today we will be looking at ten Disney Princess theories that we totally believed, but that have been debunked. We’ll be looking at how Mandy Moore rejected the theory that Queen Induna and King Agnar from Frozen died on their way to Rapunzel’s wedding. We’ll investigate how Belle from Beauty and the Beast was said to be reading Aladdin in one scene, but how that theory was shut down by the director of the film. When we see Aladdin and Jasmine flying over what appears to be Greece, the setting looks similar to the garden that Hercules and Meg walk through after their first date. During that same scene, after Hercules accidentally knocks the arms off a statue with a rock, there's a shooting star. I know the first shooting star was Pegasus, but what if that one was Aladdin and Jasmine on their magic carpet????

When Maui transforms, his fish hook seems to transform with him. If he transformed into Pudge the fish, you wouldn't see the fish hook until he changed back into Maui. Also that scene was deleted, so it isn't canon.
