We were all kids at one point and when we were younger, we would believe almost anything adults would tell us. In this video I discuss more of the absurd things that we would believe when we were kids.

Hope you enjoy! :)

When I was age two, I decided that the roads came from a giant with an asphalt stamp who touched it to the ground.

Fun fact: the first color photo was in 1861 by a young Scottish physicist, James clerk Maxwell conducted an experiment to show that all colors can be made by an appropriate mixture of red, green and blue light. Maxwell made three lantern shades of turton ribbon through red, green and blue light. Maxwell made three lantern shades of a turton ribbon through red, green and blue filters using three separate magic lanterns-- each equipped with a filter of the same color the image has been made with. He then project them into a screen where the three image were superimposed together on the screen they combined to make a full color photo which was reconcilable reproduction of the original back in the 1800s. And the first picture came out in the 1820s

When I was younger I used to think that the only profession that existed was my parents' profession, i.e. doctors. I remember asking my mother one day "Mom, when will auntie become a doctor" and my mom said that she isn't gonna be a doctor but a teacher at a college (assistant professor) . I was mind blown🤣

When I was younger I used to believe that being adopted means that you were never born with parents and I also used to think that vampires existed

When I was 3, my parents told me that if I would eat all the candy, a giant candy monster would become alive in my stomach and it’s would burst out and kill me, because I was a stupid little child, I believed them. The next day, it was Halloween, so I decided to not go trick-or-treating, worst mistake of my life.

Growing up, my parents told me that there are witches, demons and goblins at parks at night and to never go to one at night. We lived close to a park so she just wanted us to be safe at night

When I was like 8 or something, I was introduced to an 80's movie called Escape from New York (taking place in 1997) and I genuinely thought that my parents survived all that 😭

At my school they used to have one of those boxes where they could access the plumbing in the bathroom. Well, some kids said that if you walked past it, you would be taken by a hand that could pop out at you and suck you in. Everyone believed it.

Something I didn’t but did believe as a kid is that when the lights turned off, Freddy Fazbear and other FNAF characters would spawn in and chase me down (mostly because I watched Alex The Noob)

When I was little, I made up a word that sounded like the f word, and my siblings got so sick of it and said that whenever I said that the cuss monster would crawl out of the vents and eat me in my sleep. It honestly worked.

I remember loads of movies came out in 2008 and because all the trailers said ‘2008’ I thought 2008 was the year all movies release and the years eventually repeat again so you’d have to wait for the next 2008 for movies to come out. Top that lol

they also forgot one important thing of why you wouldn't want to be a pirate,
mostly because pirates do crime, and if you were captured, you would be in prision.
or in the 17th - 18th century, tortured, a long life imprisonment, or executed and even hanged on gibbets gruesomely as your body decays.
so in conclusion, i opposed of committing piracy

My parents told me that sitting too close to the tv would make my eyes go square and for a good few months I sat at the other side of the room when playing my ps2
