I'm still astonished by the amount of adults I have to explain to why the sky isn't blue because of the reflection of the oceans 😑

Being hit by an asteroid would still make you the skinniest person alive… but only for an inconceivable amount of time of exactly 10^-43 seconds

3:53 would like to correct you here, temperatures cannot fall below -273.15 degrees celsius or 0K which is also referred to as absolute zero

We learnt all of this in grade 10 physics 😅

I was just wondering, where’s my boy Kelevin? I ain’t seen him in a minute.

Rotating to keep an even temperature isn't as ludicrous as it may seem. This is exactly what the Apollo spacecraft did on their way to the moon. They called it the "barbecue roll" (officially called passive thermal control mode).

Quick correction, space gas clouds can not be -500 degrees whether you were referring to Fahrenheit t or Celsius or kelvin, they get to around 10 kelvin which is around -441 F, this is because there is a minimum temperature things can reach that being 0 degrees kelvin or -273 Celsius. We love physics :)

Thank you for the video, very interesting and entertaining! Just some comments:
0:49 The suns energy comes from the fusion of hydrogen to helium (mainly in the proton-proton reaction, if anybody is interested, just read it up on Wikipedia) (also yes, fusion, that one thing we're also trying to achive here on earth, we're basically trying to recreate what the sun is doing and get power out of it)
1:35 what about stellar pulsation?
2:00 the drawing might be a bit misleading, the light does travel in a straight line until it hits our atmosphere, then it gets partially reflected but also refracted (that's the bending part) (this always happens when the medium the light is travelling through changes, here it's vacuum to air)
2:38 (As others have already pointed out) The lowest temperature we can archive is 0°K (or -173.15°C/-459.67°F), also called absolute zero
4:40 I don't know about the rotational speed you'd need for a human but fun fact: Apollo did rolls to distribute heat (officially called passive thermal control, inofficially the "BBQ-roll")
6:35 Haha, yes, I like the thought of an orbit just being a faceplant, but you miss the earth

(disclaimer: I'm NOT an astrophysicist! I had astrophysics for one year in grade 12, other than that I have no connection to it. So, if you have anything to add or correct, please do! And remember, in space no one hears you scream ;) (7:47) )

This video is wrong about what would happen to your body without a spacesuit . You would eventually freeze, but only after you died. There are only 3 ways to dissipate heat, convection, conduction, and radiation, and in a vacuum only radiation would work(a vacuum is actually the best insulator we have). Instead you would slowly overheat, not because of the sun but because your body wpuld produce heat faster than it can get rid of it. Also your blood would not boil because it is not in a vacuum, but liquids exposed on the surface, skin, eyeballs, lips, ect would boil off pretty quickly

So... you can definitely find O2 in space....

I thought stars twinkled because of their planets blocking them 😢

My dear friend, please clarify the people that we wouldn't notice a difference if the black hole with the "same mass" were to be replaced with our sun. If black hole with the same physical size as that of our sun were to appear, it would literally suck everything in our solar system into itself.

3:51 . A temperature below 0 Kelvin is almost impossible .

The temperature thing is a little more complicated. Because there is no oxygen or really anything else in space, you can't really call any part of space particularly hot or cold. Empty space can't have a temperature. There us just more or less heat radiation travelling through it. That is also why the ISS is much more likely to overheat then to freeze. There is a lot if heat produced there but because space is empty that heat has nowhere to go. Well almost nowhere. Because of it's proximity to earth there is still a comparatively high particle density around it. Thats why the ISS has huge radiator panels stretching out from it. Without those it would instantly overheat despite being out in the "cold" of space.

The only stars that do 'twinkle' are variable stars (which some might be caused by dyson swarms and partial dyson spheres) but a good chunk of them are probably due to some kind of dust phenomena but its definitely on the table in terms of explanations

Here's some examples of different ways NATURE Behaves: It's Crazy how the difference between freshwater & salt water and Warm water & Cold water 🌊 creates a ton of the complex systems that function within our Oceans & creates systems within the cells of our bodies and how they retain or release salt. ~Complexity in Nature basically comes from {"Differences"} The "factor" of these different differences seems to be the things that makes these dynamic systems function. Just look at: *{High pressure/low pressure, hot/cold temperatures, different densities, viscosities, turbulent flow, static electric charges/discharges, +/- electromagnetism, different frequencies of photon's, different velocity/angular momentum, different amounts of energy/mass/vibrations. Different boundary layers between different regions such as: (Land/water/air/layers of the atmosphere/space/ the different regions in space with different particle density/background radiation, solar wind/membrane layers/bubble's/surface tension/cloud regions, nebula's/Galaxy's/Galaxy clusters/ Cosmic filaments/less dense regions of space compared to dense regions of space.) All of these things are basic differences but create a way for the dynamic engine within Nature to continue flowing and operating to create and convert energy.} Just Like How a battery 🔋 transfers + charges through a membrane layer to a - charged side. Like how regions of high/low temperature 🌡️ create winds. In water- add some factors and It creates ocean currents and flow. Then internally inside our planet it creates plate tectonics, planetary convection, geothermal activity, a magnetic field around our planet, to hold an atmosphere. The list goes on

The natural world around us is utterly facinating.
