If you can't find the iso file in your downloads folder then follow these steps:
1. Click on apple logo (Top right corner)
2. Click on About this Mac
3. Click More Info
4. Go to bottom of this About section and click Storage Settings
5. Click on i button of Documents Folder
6. Go to File Browser
7. Click Command+Shift+. at the same time. (This will open up hidden folders)
8 Now select Library>Parallels>Downloads.
9. Here you go, this folder contains the iso file of windows11.

If this helps, give this comment a like, if not then reply to this comment I'll help you.

This video is so timely. I was just contemplating whether or not to renew my parallel subscription and certainly I won't be doing that now. Thanks!

Beautiful video. Spent literal months trying to download windows on my mac. Through thousands of methods this is the only one that works. Cheers mate.

Tried SO many different videos about UTM and other VM's, this was the only one that actually worked and allowed me to download it and finally get Power BI on my MacBook. Thanks!

You exposed your key right before the transition, not sure if it matters but just so you know since you blurred it

Thank you for the video. I bought the standard license for Parallels for my Macmini M2 pro, and I've been loving it.

Bruh! 🌟 Gold star for you. After reading a bunch of reddit posts that basically said this was impossible, I found your video and it worked like a charm even for 11 Pro. Life saver man!

This was just what I was looking for. Wanted to run my old QB Desktop software on my Macbook Pro M2. I had a Windows license key but didn't need to run Parallels. Perfect solution for my requirements. Thank you Jeff!!!

Thanks, Jeff - very helpful. Only issues I had were my own, wanting to put spaces in some of the cmd lines. Appreciate it!

I have been using VMware Fusion on my Intel Mac to run Windows 11. So far so good.

The iso file no longer downloads into the download folder. At least, this happened to me, and when I followed your steps, it downloaded the entire VM within parallels.

Followed every single step, checking and rechecking that it was all correct. I got all the way to 8:57, where you go into DVD drive, Right click Setup and "Run With Powershell." On the dropdown menu it only says "Run As Administrator" not Powershell. And so therefore can't continue, any help please?

At 4:52 it says to click the Play button. When I did that step, I got this error: "The guest attempted to read beyond the end of a disc image..." Then in the Windows black screen area it says: "Start PXE over IPv4." and "PXE-E16: No valid offer received." I repeats that again, and then below that it says: "Start PXE over IP6." It then freezes, and clicking does nothing. After pressing return and clicking more though, it then presented me with a yellow Shell> prompt. If I type "reset" and press Return, it simply gets me back to the same text I just told you about. It won't boot from the image, probably because I don't know what commands to type.

After that, I deleted the virtual machine, created a new one to start over, and then it worked. Hopefully, this info will help others who experience the same.

There is one huge downside to Fusion versus Parallels. I have a UTi260B Thermal Camera that connects to my MBP via USB-C cable. Only Parallels can detect it. Fusion cannot. Sadly, even MacOS cannot, which is perhaps why feature-limited Fusion cannot. But clearly, Parallels is much smarter software because when I connect my thermal imager, I get a popup dialog that asks if I want to allow Parallels to use it. It appears as a "UVC camera." OBS and the UTI app for the imager can see it within Parallels. I can then use Quicktime to record my screen in order to save video taken by it. If Fusion could do that, it would be great because that would mean I wouldn't have to use Parallels. Honestly, I only need Windows for that one app alone. Makes no sense to pay the big bucks for a one trick pony.

The ISO file is not showing in the downloads folder, Parallels is just going along with the Windows 11 installation process. Has this method changed?
