Use baking soda to soak it up if it just happened and press on that shiz like your life depends on it. I put a wash cloth over it and stood on the bed. Then once you feel like it soaked up the majority come through with half parts vinegar and half parts hot water. The amount this video recommends was way too much for me but depends on how much pee there is

I was about to do all this, I was stressing in the middle of the night. But I have a foam mattress with a separate foam fluffy top. I just cut out the big square that was full of pee and threw it in the washer. The pee only soaked up in that much. I was lucky. I bought two mattress covers after this. lol. 😅 one to have on and one to replace immediately during a night time emergency.

Depends on how much there is honestly; I spent the big bucks on a really nice mattress protector, but had to take it off to wash the pee off it & she peed on the mattress directly Dx I ended up doing the above but ALSO used an upholstery cleaner with some sort of enzyme for pet urine and that got the rest of the smell out. I also recommend rubbing Alchol and just getting a heavy duty matrress protector 😅

use an enzyme cleaner this isn't going to work, the smell will stay
