You can lift up the carpet, throw some borax and boiling water with a cleaner. Get puppy pad top and bottom with a towel in between. Step on it, repeat until the towels are clean.

Hydrogen peroxide has a bleaching agent so I wouldn’t recommend putting it on the carpet unless you have a good extractor
