Playing Dying Light 1 as a kid at night was the most traumatising thing i’ve witnessed😂😂😂😂😂 I was even playing online with my friend and when I saw the look on the volatiles face as it sprinted full pace towards me, I didn’t hesitate to unplug my console straight from the power supply and not play the game again for the next 3 months or so.

Dying light 1 was honestly the only game that has ever given me the "primal fear" of survival, or the "fight or flight response" during my playthrough. It took me a lot of time to overcome the fear of playing at night (ingame) and do night missions or just be chased by volatiles to level up .
