Even my friends who prefer Playstation agree that Xbox should get the Warner Bros Studios. And have said that they'd rather Xbox get them over EA, Activision, or Take Two

I love XBOX, i just got my first gaming PC and I love XBOX more, they really are killing it when it comes to gaming services. Game Pass on PC is phenomenal. This is something that XBOX has definitely got right.

As someone who isn’t into Halo or Gears, I’d love them to put as much effort in to new IPs as they do with those. This makes me hopeful for more variety in the future. 🤞

Honestly what I would love to see Sony do is bring back old PS2 titles and remake them such as Twisted Metal, Scarface, The Godfather, Bully, Socom, MAG, Warhawk. As for Xbox I would say they should reach a agreement with Sega. Bring all the dreamcast, saturn and genisis games to The Xbox catalog and possibly remake some old games. Now don't get me wrong, you want to make new titles. But you want to bring in the older fans that been on these systems since the first iteration. Gaming isnt just a teenage thing anymore. People well into their 40s are still huge gamers. You have to appeal to them too, so having games with that nostalgia could help.

I feel if they buy the company it would not only boost the already great games but be in good hands.

Nothing wrong with xbox being a shooter box if those games are good. PS exclusives rarely extend away from the narrative third person/open world games theme but it doesn't mean that's bad.

I definitely hope one of those "high quality" Xbox games is a Perfect Dark Reboot as a high-action & stealth, character/story-driven 3rd person game. A sci-fi Bond/Bourne/Splinter Celll-style game could be amazing & just what Microsoft needs to directly compete against Sony & PlayStation exclusives like Uncharted & Last of Us.

NGL if they pulled minecraft from the ps5, its be a smart move. Then they could always re release it in a few years to playstation. Also im hyped for obsidians next AAA RPG. Especially if it is skyrim esque since bethesda is dropping the ball on a skyrim sequel working on starfield instead.

The perfect opportunity for Microsoft to acquire WB games studios, if AT&T does sell or they might not but if they do mircosoft will buy it and will get the licenced IP at&t trusts those studios to do a great game, plus xbox is going to get a Japanese studio no doubt about it and two more studios either abso blooberteam remedy or plpcanfly, xbox team wants to be on top with content and I think they might this generation.

I've never been a fan of acquiring studios unless they are literally on the brink of collapsing financially like Obsidian was when Microsoft stepped in. However, if this is turning into an arms race between Sony and Microsoft all Phil can do is go all out because if he doesn't Sony sure will.
