Phil Spencer Practically Confirms an Xbox Handheld | IGN Live 2024

XboxOS would be a welcome announcement. Just a cut down windows you could install on any handheld. Edit - Almost everyone has seen the Xbox documentary and knows Xbox is cut down windows. That’s my point. Let other handhelds install it.

xbox native plus pc similar to steam deck or rog, that would be a winner. since they own the os and graphics stack used by most pc gamers as well as under the hood in xbox they should be the ones to be able to pull that off

Whatever people say about Xbox. Phil always comes off as a likeable, for the players sort of Exec. Sure he has to make tough decisions and cut projects or close studios, but I'm guessing with how positive he seems, those things do hurt him.
