Poppy Playtime just joined the ranks of FNAF, Bendy and Hello Neighbor recently by releasing their first book for me to read. Today we're taking a look at the new Orientation book released that gives us some interesting lore clues to figure out some of the secretes hidden within Playtime Co. So let's get to work!

Heres something no one has considered, how the note we got sent at the start even was sent. Poppy was locked inside the cage and if she wasen't she would've escaped earlier. So someone has to have written the note first.

I'm calling it, Markiplier is the main characther of Poppy Playtime. Imagine you see a figure approching you and you hear. "Hello everybody my name is Markiplier."

This is interesting because Poppy tells us in chapter 3 that it was the prototype and his followers that locked her in the box because she didn't agree with the hour of joy, but the book tells us that she was locked in there before the hour of joy and the humans knew she was there...

I seem to recall Dogday said “You need to get out of here. You need to live. You and Poppy can fix this” moments before he died.

Now why would Dogday tell P.W. this if Poppy was planning to betray him? Dogday believed in Poppy’s plan and wants P.W. to survive. Therefore, Poppy’s plan and P.W.’s survival must go hand in hand.

Could P.W be Dr.White? I mean we haven’t seen anyone else whose last name starts with “W” and it would make sense.. Dr.White is a scientist, would have the clearance to see the orphans, and DIRECTLY chose the orphans too.

Some key counterpoints to the theory:
1: The messages at the end of Chapter 1. Who wrote them, and how do we know they don't have an ulterior motive for doing so? i.e. making Poppy look untrustworthy because she's not on the same side as the mystery writer
2: Poppy changing her mind about letting you leave during Chapter 2 is not necessarily a sign that she's evil. Remember that she changed her mind *after* the PC killed Mommy Long Legs, meaning it's possible Poppy realized the PC might make the perfect ally in her fight against the Prototype
3: Regarding the apparent contradiction with most of the coworkers having been killed and Poppy's line "Let me help you save everyone", can one say for certain 'everyone' is referring to surviving coworkers?

When Tom said Leith Pierre was still around, and hadn't been lured back to the factory, it occurred to me how cool it would be if Leith actually HAD been lured back to factory at some point, and maybe we'll get alternate chapters in the future showing his perspective and experiences returning to Playtime Co. as well.

I think a thing worth mentioning is how dogday refers to us, "you're Poppy's angel, come to save us" he knows who we are and who Poppy is, he even likes Poppy, I think it's possible that, that is an important part of the lore

I love how P.W. Is fine with the orphans dying for as long as he worked there but when his colleagues start to die because of the projects they’re doing it’s an issue 💀
