Amazon Fire 8 Tablet is a good option in the affordable price range with features like Mediatek and hands free voice assistant Alexa that makes it super easy to work with it and makes it absolutely convenient. Considering the price of the tablet, the specs sheet of the same is pretty impressive and extremely powerful. it definitely is a huge upgrade from the previous model.

How is the video calling on this tablet? more specific can the other person see your face on screen or is it dark and invisible? how does video calling compare to Samsung tab a or an ipad 10.2?

Tablets are best for media consumption and I'd argue that Samsung and Fire tablets are better for watching Netflix and YouTube than an iPad due to the screen ratio.

After installing Google play & disabling all Amazon services, it is actually a good device. My only disappointment is the dimmer than I would like screen.

I have an iPad but I'm still getting one of these. I use the iPad Pro for sketching. I very much dislike the iPad's aspect ratio when it comes to watching videos. It really wastes space, having huge black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. This problem is much worse with videos that's are closer to 18:9 ratio. Also, it's kinda heavy (or I just have weak arms). Wrists get sore from trying to use it in bed for videos.

I just bought the hd8 2020 version I received it yesterday why does the the whole main screen crashes, sumtimes, and why does the volume goes in and out its a budget tablet but I returned mines and getting a exchange hopefully it won't be a defect, not good so far with me

Dual band WiFi, 2 ghz processor, 2 gb ram, 32 gb base internal storage for 55 dollars? Sign me up! I just ordered mine. I previously had an older Samsung tablet, but sold it quickly after learning that it couldn’t be updated past KitKat. Before ordering my fire tablet, I cancelled an order on a dragontouch k10. 10 inches of screen is more than I want, the processor was weaker at 1.6 ghz, and the internal storage was only 16gb. Womp, womp. The purpose of a cheap android tablet for me is to have something that I can install aptoide on to get bootleg versions of grand theft auto.Fire OS is based off of android, and after some research, I learned that you can indeed install aptoide on this device. This is a huge win!

The tab s6 is getting flagship level software support in the sense that its assured to get two android versions. Security patches are flaky nonetheless but its a tablet so its forgivable. It started off on 9.0 on release, recieved 10 in may and assured to get 11. For an android tablet it's pretty good since google left the space

i have the fire HD10 but i mainly leave it plugged in and use it in show mode as as an alexa smart screen.
