This totally works! However, please hold the tablet up so that its screen is vertical to our eyesights and we can see your finger positions precisely. Just my 2 cents. Also, we have to download and install "APK"s but not "bundle"s, these types are labelled at the end of the apk package. Thank you, Liliputing!

I really appreciate the level of detail here! I have tried 5 different combinations of the 4 Google apps and everytime PlayStore crashes on me whenever I try to install a new app. I have an Amazon Fire 8 (2020) and I'm guessing Android 9 or 10 on it. Is there something I'm missing? Any chance you could provide the exact 4 files that would work together? (:)) Many Thanks!

I read that this won't work on the Amazon Fire HD8 Tablet, 10th Edition, 2020 Generation? Any Truth to this as of May 2022 and IF it's True, is there an updated version of these Instructions? PS.. I've NEVER uploaded or downloaded anything before bcuz I'm the least technically inclined Gramma and to do this, I would need super easy instructions bcuz I really need Google Play or Play Store for my Grandbabes! What is the long term compatibility of this? Would the apps keep up to date or will it be necessary to update them with their most recent versions if issues arise?

Ah thank you. Had already tried with another sites instruction list and managed to screw up. So freestanding on this one, and reading a bit about each apk, it's now working grand. Thank you !
