Thank you it's prime day and I was deciding whether to trade in my 2020 hd8.
I needed to compare with the hd8 2022 to decide whether i should pay the extra $10 for the HD8 plus.
I've decided the HD82022 (NON-plus) is plenty upgrade for what I use my hd82020 for.

Great video thanks. I have the hd10 but I do like all the Fire tablets. I had a question, do you ever use a screen protector? I always want to for a bit of protection and anti glare but I can never put them on!

You mentioned that the 2022 was faster than the 2020 numerous times but you never showed a simple speed comparison in this video between the two? 🤔

Fire Toolbox iis a must as it disables bloat like silk, search bar, amazon kids and audible
so is steam link and space deck for pc games and a second screen

I'd disagree about the 2gb vs 3gb
3gb is min so video thumbs cache more and scrolls smoother
ive been using a 1.5gb 8 and 1.4gb is use to live
it uses about 1.8gb in virtual ram, so 3gb would give a gb for vlc, nf, dis and prime
team viewer will munch more
