I’m 56, healthy, but struggled with PF for over a year. Never had any issues before this. Your advice has worked for me. I transitioned to Altra Torins and spend more time barefoot. I’ve seen slow but steady improvement. I found stretching my tight hips, along with foot strengthening helped a lot.

I have followed your program and I think I have fixed my PF! Its been about 2 months since i did a skin scrapping and warn my toe spacers and have no pain in my feet! I still do stretches and have a hard time feeling any amount of a "pull" in my legs.

shoes! This is the first Dr. that actually address the problem which is WEAK FEET! I never had PF and now at 55 i have them. I now know how weak my feet are and was doing everything to address the sypmtons (inserts, massage, "resting", etc...). Been doing feet strengthening exercises and they are working. pain is starting to go away and i will keep up with my feet strength until cured! I always thought heel being lower was bad for your feet, so i bought heel higher, now that i know the truth, i need a shoe options to help me! thank you!

Dr. Angela, you have helped me so much. I am so very grateful. I had terrible advice and ended up suffering for a year and a half. I am now almost completely free of pf...the improvement is noticeable by the week. Thank you. I have bought barefoot shoes, walk barefoot whenever possible, and walk normally, making sure I do not limp at all. I am SO relieved that the condition is resolving, even after such a long period of suffering from it.

Thank you so much and the Lord bless you!

Is it possible that PF left untreated could develop haglunds deformity, heel atrophy? I am hoping your program will help this in me. Do you have any info this?
Thank you again. ❤

You are amazing! What safety shoes you recommend to work 8 hrs stand? I live in Canada and I can't find the Orthofeet you recommend in your list! 😢

Thanks doctor this is great information. Question about shoes: are the shoes on your recommend list only available online? Does any retailer carry them? What about the Good Feet Store? I really need to try on shoes before buying!

She turned my PF around.
Use a multifactorial approach: foot strengthening and massage, calf/foot stretching, proper shoes, caution going barefoot (ease into it) etc.
But 1st find what relieves the pain. Nite splint and Crocs were my 1st Go-to methods leading to cure. Now pain free!!!
I still minimize barefoot, but tolerate it for short periods.
Thx, Dr. A

Can you have both, PF and PTTD? I have done your exercises for almost 3 weeks and feel some better. But my single leg calf raises hurt way too bad. That’s Why I think I have PTTD.

I wonder can you have both the PF and The Tendon one? I've got xero shoes and pain is better except days I'm standing in 1 place for few hours or walk more than a mile. I've had the foot pain for over 7 yrs so will take a while. I also didn't have a slant board? I use wheelchair ramp but winters cant do it.

PF is near killing me. I can’t get a break, can’t walk, can’t do activities. Basically can’t live life! It’s like a slow death. I’ve been wearing wide shoes for 6 months. I booted one of my feet for 2 weeks and it helped but quickly came back when I started light use. I have a feeling I’m suffering from fascia adhesions.

Do you advise against Shockwave therapy for either short OR long term relief of PF? (an Xray of my left foot does show a definate heel spur. but both feet hurt at the inside and back of heel from PF. it was diagnosed by a Orthopedic surgeon, I am considering Shockwave procedure to compliment your exercises. its been just over a month and no real improvement.
