thank you bro, had this issue years ago and never knew how to fix it, think i always assumed it was just an issue with the footage i was using. i had completely forgotten about the bug until i encountered it again today and your first solution worked perfectly

2 years later and Premier Pro is still having these same issues. I had no problems up until last week and I've been using it for 3 years. I bought a really good gaming PC and it worked fine for a couple months and then all of the sudden, i had this issue. Your first suggestion actually seems to be working. Thank you for the help! If you've come up with a permanent fix for this issue, I'd love to know what you did.

i had problems when using L for x2 speed with multicamera editing, the preview area solved it, 1000 thanks may you life a happy life !
