This video saved my life. I tried this on a piece of audio that was so much more badly clipped than your example and literally jumped up and danced when I playedback the result. Thank you!

I had to fix over an hour of material and didn't see myself pulling it off. Neat that you made this short tutorial!!! Thanks a lot <3

Thanks for this. I've had Audition forever with my copy of CS6, but never got into it. This video made it easy to really improve my audio. MUCH APPRECIATED!

OMG - you just totally "saved my butt" with this video :-) I've been using Adobe for years, but I hadn't come across this app before. Due to an error on my part, my audio was "overclipping, " and now it's saved. The function is truly magical. Thank you so much for your video 🤩

Thank you so much for this. You made it really easy and thank you for easing my fears about needing to immediately learn new software! That was exactly my worry when I skimmed and saw that you were using Audition! Totally took care of my issue!

Hmm, Adobe Audition does not come free as he says with my Premiere Pro business subscription. At least as of today. Will hope to find solution elsewhere.

Very good sir. No that complicated, but you still must know your way around Audition, which is a whole animal by itself. But its worth learning. Thank you.

Can you please change the title of this? Because you're not fixing it in Prem, you're fixing it in Audition & that's different. No shade, but it mislead me.

Hey everybody: Not getting any problems "detected"? Try changing Tolerance from 1% to 10%. Eric: thank you for this video. NOTE: Like a lot of you all, I was doing the scan and getting "0 problems detected." I changed Tolerance from 1% to 10%. Upon re-scanning, I got 66 problems detected. (Yes, this seems "backwards", but never mind that...) I hit "Repair All": and the clipping was much improved (I went from sort of crappy to pretty OK audio.) Further Note: I then RESCANNED same audio several times. EACH time audio got better. I'm sure if I or you further tweaked the other settings - Gain, Min.Clip Size, etc., that different, probably better, results would occur. OVERALL: Yes, this helped a lot! Thanks!

Thank you, Eric! I just attended an event today and a Porsche GT3RS & Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica blew past me at full throttle. The audio was ultimately peaked out but this method helped bring it back down to salvageable levels.
