I used to be pretty lazy as a kid fairly disinterested in school and although always did well in exams probably got put down for that more than was fair. I worked hard throughout my 20s and did well earned a good living. In my 30s had some rough things happen like my mum dropping dead, to a lesser extent needing to change career (the old job was very high stress) and about a year after I started getting panic attacks.
I run a new business now and it's going well but in life I always feel like I should be doing more. I guess it comes down to being told that over and over in school or as a kid, "if you only applied yourself" blah blah. Anyways I reckon that's why the anxiety comes when I'm just trying to chill out and watch tv or lay in bed now, it used to happen all the time so I guess that's progress? I think I just still have a core belief that I'm lazy and should always be doing more.
