I have been diagnosed with ADHD since I was a teenager…I came off ALL medications over a year ago and healed from past regarding Trauma and an Dysfunctional childhood, recovered from addiction ten years ago, therapy, 12 step programs, and researching and learning everything I could about life skills, developed healthy communication skills and new coping mechanisms, learned how to manage my emotions, and started my journey with spirituality and meditating. I’ve learned that are brains and minds are more powerful than what the world makes us think! Life is manageable when a person is willing to change and learn everything they can in order to help them grow! ❤

Majority of people are not taught healthy life skills, which effectives every area of a persons life! It takes time and repetition to create new healthy habits and learn how to manage your emotions. Anything is possible!

It's not that ADHD sufferers don't know where to start with doing things. Trust me we research the hell out of the task and definitely know what to do and how to do it, It's that we don't produce the chemicals in our brain to actually get us to do it. The more boring the task the worse it is, our brains lack the dopamine and adrenaline for these tasks.

I'm a diagnosed ADHD and I'm gonna say it - those are NOT the symptoms. The symptoms are the ones you've had since childhood through your entire life AND are so serious that it has a HUGE impact on your life (yes, the scale of that impact defines whether it's ADHD or not). The things in the video may be the result of masking ADHD (but don't have to), but none of them are just ADHD synptoms. You can as well have social anxiety and lack some vitamins and minerals or have depression or live unhealthy, not eatinf nutritious food, live under a huge pressure and stress. Any reason. Some videos about ADHD make sense, but don't assume anything based on some shorts. At least watch some specialist's video. I'm a full adult now, but my stopień were like: I forgot that I'm going to school and didn't go, forgot to put my shoes on during winter and went wearing my flip flops, I was preparing for a competition for 2 MONTHS as a child and forgot to go, I could be learning something for 10 hours straight (which was like a one A4 page) and still fail. Self harm begun when I was a child and was with me my entire life. ADHD is a real disorder people struggle with, if you're a teenager and sometimes feel like no one undestrands you then it's not a symptom. I'm not saying you don't have ADHD cause I don't know you so how could I know. Just go to the DOCTOR specializing in ADHD and then you will see how many aspects you need to meet - in Poland there are so many tests, opinions from parents, partner, your primary school teacher, all your psychiatric documentation from the very beginning. They are testing you for all other disorders and diseases to make sure you're not just depressed or having bipolar or anything else. You have a set of meeting where they speak with you and observe your entire behaviour. The even put some sounds that normal peolple wouldn't notice or make a move and observe if you noticed, if something changed, distracted you. It's more than "I got an A on that test 3 months ago and now I don't remember any of it" which is quite normal to be honest.
My advice in summary is - reach real medical knowledge coming from the specialists, not YouTube shorts.

As someone with a dad, a brother, and a best friend with diagnosed adhd, do not diagnose yourself based on tiktok or YouTube shorts videos. Don’t diagnose yourself based on “put a finger down’s” or online quizzes. In fact, don’t diagnose yourself *at all* . With any disorder. Get it professionally diagnosed. And if you can’t, then don’t say you have (insert disorder). Because you don’t know if you have it.

Is this really ADHD? I feel like this is the experience of most women and girls. Do we all have ADHD? (there's a good chance I might have it, but I also think everything listed is what almost all young women have to overcome due to how we're socialized as girls).

Guys don’t let her trick u. Creators like to pick the most general symptoms so people feel related to and watch more of her content. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE THESE SYMPTOMS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE ADHD!! I recommend you to be checked out by a professional. None of these signs are conclusive evidence that you have or don’t have adhd. People like to show the fun and quirky sides of adhd. No one ever talks about the stress anxiety and bullying. So pls guys don’t let tik tok YouTube intsa etc tell you what and what isn’t wrong with you. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP!!!

This is not ADHD, but anxious attachment. ADHD has been studied on men, not women, therefore, cannot be easily diagnosed. For ADHD on women, are needed 10+ traits from DSM, not only 5, plus observations, testing.

I am a drama queen making big deals out of little things that is dramatic, I am a lot and me not always able to control these things because my brain doesn't let me doesn't mean it's not dramatic and it is a lot for normal Brains people. It's selfish to think we aren't a lot for people
