I've adopted these mindful Living habits recently after accepting that I am chronically ill and within a short space of time they have already been transformative both my body and mind. I have meditated on and off for years but when I do it consistently I feel much calmer and I am definitely more patient!

Being older and starting my journey now, with a more mindful decision to now. I have found a more centering outcome. I used to roll my eyes when I was told just take a deep breath. I meditate every morning before I get out of bed. I chose the length depending on how much time that I have. It helps me start my day off on the right path. I write simple lines of happenings without judgement in my journal daily or every other as well. These things bring me peace in daily living.

I meditate for 10 minutes every morning, alongside affirmations, visualization, reading and Yoga. I love to start the morning so slow and calm and mindful. Doing all this everyday made the difference. It doesn't help to meditate now and then. Being consistent is what does the trick for me.
