Just adopted a siamese cat. He is 2 years old. I have had him for 4 days but is still hiding under my living room couch. I hope in a week or 2 he becomes more active and stops hiding. Everything you said why not to get one is why I wanted one. I want to interact with my cat. I've already spent alot of money on toys, cat trees. Treats, food trying to make him as comfortable as I can. I talk to him but, for the most part, leave him alone while he is hiding and hoping he comes around.

I had 3 Siamese cats years ago. They were playful, gentle to kids, and love to be cuddled and carried. You are right, they prefer people around them and they do not like to be home alone. Out of my three cats, one was talktative, the other two were just like normal cats.

Bruh my Siamese is the quietest, least pickiest, most cuddly, and most independent cat ive ever met. Goes on walks with the dog, who is her best friend. She's also quite a small cat but shes hunted possums, magpies, etc. She is next level and although ive desexed every single cat in my life, her desexing is one that i regretted the most. My Siamese is very quiet.. adopting her was the best decision I ever made. I got a best friend for 100$. She would sleep on my chest over my heart every night as a kitten.. and now she'll cuddle up against my leg or something. She follows me everywhere and gives me little kisses and love bites on my nose. I had depression really bad at one point and she saved me. She would sit on my lap and comfort me whenever she could. I honestly beleive our animals are gifts from God. Thank you universe for my best friend. I love you Luna ❤️

I adopted a small abandoned or lost Siamese kitten. He has been so much fun. Hes crazy. My big old male grey cat took care of him a lot in the beginning. He’s a sweetheart and a blast to play with. I’m home all day so he is a lot of fun.

I had a blue point Siamese cat for 13 /2 years. She was the best loving cat anyone could ever have. That was many years now and I still miss her today. An animal has a catality in my case. She was amazing.

I was brought up around the Exotic variety of this breed through my child and teenagehood about 10-15+ of them. All our siamese cats were indoor cats and was astounded how different they are to most other breeds. They are so mouthy and purr so loud, but so loving and affectionate. Blue points, seal pont, tabby, cream, all the colours. I am more of a dog person but I will always have a place in my heart for this breed.
