We've had a number of male rotties and ZERO problems. They loved/played with our other dogs and were super friendly when we walked them in crowds of strangers. They especially loved little kids.

ANY dog is a problem if not socialized. I'm 50 and been around Rottweilers my entire life. Your video makes no sense, dude.

I had a male rot and a male pit bull. Never had a problem with either one

Only had males. Amazing dogs if you know how to handle them and you have patience and are a confident owner.

We are on our 5 th rottweiler. All females except this one is a male . He is amazing great dog. Loves the grandchildren and the the house cat and him snuggle together at night. We were worried about a male but finally got one and he is the best

I knew a male rottweiler once, he was enormous, the biggest danger with him ??? he'd bump into you and knock you for six if you weren't ready for the contact. As with most dogs the problem generally lies with people who raised the dog. I grew up with another 'dangerous' breed, German Shepards, all intact males and they were great dogs. I'd have no qualms about raising a male rottie from puppyhood.

They only have dominance issues with IDIOTS.... fools too stupid to have one to begin with-- it doesn't take a genius- and they're very loving dogs-- when treated properly.. Trainnig? - yes-- at young age-- but do it PROPERLY-- not guard dog type training.. that is NOT for pets.. YOu're right in this video about the socializing them.. but that applies to ANY dogs.. ANY of them. I raised a FULL BLOOD WOLF in my one bedroom apartment in CAlifornia- took him out regularly-- walked him 4 times a day-- he was the best security animal I ever had- and was GREAT with kids-- GANG guys he did NOT like-- and the owenrs he did not like. (i didnt' own him- I worked for the owners. They handed him to me and said he was " STUPID and wouldn't do anything they wanted and could NOT be trained... turns out he had MORE SENSE then BOTH of them combined. He did everything I told him first time every time-- was sweet- loving- but EXTREMELY loyal and protective... and the BEST at security- because he didn't BARK-- or charge wildly-- just when I told him to. Wish I could have kept him-- he's 3 ft. at the shoulder and 275 pounds now-- ALL muscle-- but doens't belong to me- and besides I came home to Virginia and they're NOT allowed here- even with correct paperwork.

I have a male... Not neutered and he acts more like Scooby Doo then kujo .... He's always been with other dogs ... socializing is the most important thing you could do..I almost wish he was more territorial sometimes since he rarely barks even when a stranger is in the front of the house... My sister has a female seems like she's way more hard headed.

I've had 3 male rottweilers over the past 15 years and frankly this video is clickbait for people that doesn't like dogs.

I still believe and always will !
Any dog, a rot a pit, Sheppard whatever ?
Dogs can sense a bad soul or bad intentions !
It's why people say, if my dog doesn't like you ? Neither do I !
However, a rot is a much different breed !
At least have a very very strong leash. And the power to hold one back.
A woman is not capable of holding a full grown determined rot !

I'm 35 years old... grew up on a farm... my dad bread and raised many breads... ( Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Huskies, Akita, Australian Dingo, Pitbull, Ridgeback, Bullmastiff, Dalmatian, etc.) My dad was always the Alpha. They were always submissive to us... no one dear come close to us... 1996 my sister was born... watched my dad take her outside and introduce her to the dogs... they went full crazy with joy... a celebration! ... 2000 my brother was born... again, I watched my dad take him outside and introduced him to the family. Another celebration... my happiest moments! On a farm... with my dad, mom, brothers, and sisters, and all my animals!

I do not understand how any dog or breed can be vicious towards their owners/pack leaders... I guess because we raised them all from birth 🤷🏽

7 bullshits. I have a male rottweiler ( a second one) and can tell the author of this video that it is a complete bullshit. People who believe that these "reasons" are true should get some yorkshire terier or a cat.

have had both. I prefer males. Unfixed females in heat is something you have to experience to believe. not a pleasant experience.

I have experience of Rottweilers, and my experience tells the tenor of your video is wrong, plain wrong.

This is bad advice. Male rottweilers are even excellent first dogs.

My male is a sweetie. Loves everybody. I have a female also. She is the more aggressive one. She is a rescue dog. 1 year 4mn when i got her. She had no training. Craves affection. Only had her a couple months. Shes hard headed but making progress with her.

I disagree with most of what you said. This would only happen in a totally neglected dog.

I am planning on getting a female Rottweiler, even though I will go watch the other video that talks about why you shouldn't, Just because I would like to breed her at some point and also I love that motherly protective instinct most female animals have l😊
