Why are there so many offended people in the comments? This video is just to make sure dogs get to live happy lives with people that have a lifestyle that matches their own. If you have a maltipoo and you love him/ her, that's great, but that also probably means that you don't mind the "cons" mentioned in this video

My Maltipoo is a sweet 7yr old boy. Ive had him since he was a puppy. I do agree with you on some of the things you said, but here's how you take care of the so called "issues" with your Maltipoo. 1) They dont like loud noises and they dont like to be yelled at, so be gentle with him/her when correcting because they just want to please you. 2) separation anxiety. Take them with you when you go to the store, on vacation, to visit family and friends. They are fantastic travel buddies. Harley, my little guy, goes everywhere with me. Hes great in a hotel room, even if its a time where he cant go with me to say a funeral. They are so smart, that you can show them something once, like navigating from your car to your hotel room. They will know from that point on where they need to go without a leash or being told. 3) sensitive stomach. Yes, that can be an issue, but it can also be an issue for other breeds as well. You can buy Royal Canin poodle food and that will help with any stomach issues. You can also make homemade dog food using people food. Both types of foods go a long way since they dont eat much. One large bag of dog food lasts 8 months, give or take. So the initial cost might seem like a lot, but when you break it down, its pennies on the dollar to feed them. Word of caution!!!? DO NOT GIVE YOUR MALTIPOO HOT DOGS OR LET THEM CHEW ON STICKS!!! They can get pancreatitis, which is incredibly painful. I found that out after someone at a get together gave Harley a hot dog without me knowing. The next day he was at the vet because he was vomiting and pooping blood. He was in the doggie hospital for 3 days on IV's and cost me about $2, 500. I would recommend getting pet health insurance because its definitely worth it!! 4) Grooming. Brushing out your Maltipoo isnt difficult and they love the attention. I used to pay $85 every 6-8 weeks for a total groom which included the bath, blow dry, nails, ears, teeth, and pad balm. I now do my own grooming on him after he got badly burned by a cage dryer at PetSmart. Overall...no matter what breed of dog you have, its a commitment and a commitment of your time. The results are fantastic because its bonding time with your pet and they like it because they love you. Harley is my first little dog, and id never trade him for anything. The happiness and companionship he has give me over the past 7 years is great. I love being with him and vice versa.

Side note: does anybody elses Maltipoo like sleeping under the covers? Harley does 😁❤️

I just got one and he is so lovable, smart, adorable. We got him like 3 weeks ago and he knows how to play fetch, sit and is great in public. He still needs to learn a lot more but he is on his way!

My maltipoo was free. I got her at 8 weeks from my co-worker. She gets groomed every 6-8 weeks @ $67 each visit. She’s a love bug and never had separation anxiety. I take her to the dog park daily, and everywhere else she’s allowed. She loves people more than other dogs and thinks she’s a Princess 💕🐶

There are no bad dogs, any dog can be a good dog with the right person who takes the time to do the work and the research.

So, basically you have to be a good pet parent. Got it. My lil guy and I are doing great. Love him so much!

My maltipoo is named Guch. He’s 6 months and he’s my first dog. Yes he has a sensitive stomach because he’s always chewing on stuff, then he brings it back up. FYI, chew spray does not work with him! He does have separation anxiety. He’s feisty, gets an attitude when I discipline him, howl like a banshee if I dare to put him in a cage, follows me around like a shadow and wakes me up at 2 am in the morning to jump on my bed! But I love him with all my heart❤

We love our maltipoo. We can leave him alone for 4-6 hours. We trim him down once a month ourselves so we don’t need to really groom. The only downside is his feet - we have to wash his feet down all the time. Super cuddly, tons of personality, and very smart

My 2 boys are the most adorable, fun, loving friends you could ever have. No health issues whatsoever and not very difficult to groom. Mine have been to a groomer once, hated it and are looked after by loving parents. They are amazing dogs.

My maltipoo is very expensive to keep groomed, he’s very affectionate, and he has wayyy too much energy. He’s also a very good boy and I love him. We got him free from someone who wanted to get rid of him cause he was too hyper

My little Buddy fits your description to a tee. I don't know his breed for sure, since I bought him as a rescue. At 75yo now (me, not him) he's my heart, and my constant companion. A smart, funny little cross between a wooly mammoth and a squirrel. I do wonder, sometimes, if I'm not able to give him everything he needs to be happy and healthy, even though he seems to be both. BUT I can NOT imagine my life without him pestering me to toss a toy, or a treat, napping on my lap, wagging his roto-tail, leaping and spinning when I come home, especially with grocery bags, or just sitting in front of me, staring at me. He's usually not interested in other dogs, but he LOVES everybody, and they love him.
All of the items you mentioned in this post only endear him to me more. Being otherwise alone, I dote on him, and he on me. I promised him in the shelter, 5 years ago, that I would give him the best life I could possibly give him, and it's pure joy to fulfill that promise.

We have a maltipoo and it is the easiest dog in the whole world. Peed outside since week 10, sleep alone in her crate every night, only bad side is she is a terrible picky eater. About grooming, we do it ourselves, buy a cheap grooming machine and do it once in 10-15 days. All together amazing dogs. And she is so smart. Yes she get separation anxiety and we try to not leave her alone longer than 2h. We walk with her twice a day for 20 min.

My lil baby Zoë definitely has a sensitive tummy and separation anxiety but she’s the best pup and loves to cuddle all day!

Maltipoos were bred for good temperament but mine likes to be alone all day, goes off on her own for like six hours a day on holidays when everyone is home and despises all other animals. Still cute though. She's fifteen now so she's extra crochety.
