I do not own any of the content of this video. The Simpsons is owned by Matt Groening. This is in my opinion the smartest/best advice that Homer Simpson has ever given from the Eenie Meenie Maya Moe Episode on Season 20.

I love how Homer's story line with Maggie and realizing that she loves him inspired him to say this to Moe.

This was a sweet moment, not just for Moe, but for Homer too. He obviously cares about Moe as a close friend and that's sweet. This is literally Homer showing compassion and comforting his friend.

I love it when dumb characters have those sudden bursts of inspiring intellect.

Moe’s always played for laughs with his depression & suicidal tendencies. But here, he gets a genuinely heartfelt and touching moment. No jokes at all.

Good on you, Homer...and Moe.

Homer may have his flaws, a lot of flaws, and a lot of moments of weakness, but he really does have a heart of gold

Even with all the moments between Homer and Marge over the years, in which he's displayed his love for her, or any moment between Homer and his children, this is my favorite Homer Simpson moment by far. It's just about how he is truly trying to help a friend when he's down and through his honesty comes some of the best wisdom this show has ever produced.

I think this is one of the most tender, touching last minutes to any Simpsons episodes ever, on a par with Mother Simpson, And Maggie Makes Three, Lisa's First Word and others. It's a shame the last twenty years of the show have rarely pulled these moments out on us, but I guess it's all the more affecting when they do.
Great episode all round really

Seeing as we know Homer could have been a genius but chose stupidity for an easier life, I love that his intelligence only ever comes out for sweet moments like this
