I love Homer's eloquent soliloquies, even if it's not often at all

Seeing Homer being proven wrong is funny. Seeing him be proven RIGHT? Hilarious.

I love how Marge just calmly peaces-out when the bees arrive.

Man, this is probably one of the best moments from classic Simpsons. Everything from Homer’s sleepy lines at the beginning, Homer being right about someone stealing the sugar, the British man, to Homer finally losing the sugar to the bees. It’s so many great gags that seamlessly follow on from one another, & the jokes are so simple but effective. Plus that excellent animation of Homer by David Silverman! *Chef’s kiss*

"I nicked it. When you let your guard down for that split-second. And I'd do it again..."

As a Brit I can confirm we steal mounds of sugar from sleepy yanks

In America, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.

I'm English and we really are like this gentleman. Never leave unguarded sugar near one of us.

The LAYERS of gags they pull off in just under 2 minutes... truly iconic

OWWWW! They’re defending themselves somehow!

It's a little disheartening when you see how much more interesting the animation is here compared to the more recent seasons' stiffness

Sugar, the cocaine of the food industry.

This whole scene is genius in every respect, from the animation to the plays on words, the scream, and the speech.

Did they ever reveal how the bees defended themselves?

Homer, when are you going to give up this crazy sugar scheme?

Never! Never, Marge. I can't live the buttoned down life like you; I want it all. The terrifying lows... the dizzying highs... the creamy middles. Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odors, oh I'll never be the darling of the so-called City Fathers, who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about, 'What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?'

"HEY!! GET OFF MY SUGAR!! BAD BEES, BAD!! OW!! OH, THEY'RE DEFENDING THEMSELVES SOMEHOW!!!"

One of the greatest scenes in television history.😆😂🤣

This episode did have some of the best one-liners.
Marge: Is that a blasting cap? Homer: Those are prizes.
And poor Moleman, I think he was the truck driver who crashed the sugar truck. Yea, it was him, when Homer told him he was going to get help, Moleman said "If only this sugar were as sweet as you."😁
