It’s cool but unless you're a dedicated artist the cost of these upgrades isn't worth it… which is most people especially since it only works with the latest ipad pro (I only have an M2)… When they find secondary uses for the Apple stylus beyond art, they will really elevate the tech.

Why is no one talking about how other pens have had things like pressure sensitivity, rotating and the reticle before drawing for years? The Samsung S Pen was able to do all that years ago. I love how Apple lags behind on every single feature and sell it as "new" and "innovative".

I just got a great idea. Can you make it in a way that the nib pressure affects one thing (let's say, the opacity of the brush) and the pressure with your fingers on the pen effects some other factor (let's say, the size of the brush) that would be great. Another way to do it is maybe slide your finger on the pen and affect the size of the brush that way. I always have a hard time with the brush, hardness, and size. and deciding what is actually affected by the nib pressure.

Edit again: some guy down there was trying to call me out so I’ll put it back up. Steve Jobs would have demanded these features be standard on gen 1 and would have included the pencil in the box with every iPad.
