As an American Christian, I am very glad for this video! it was very well put together, and I learned a lot. I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised, but In school I was only ever taught the inical schism in terms of who was the rightful sucsesser to the Caliph. The thing with the shia is that they seem to ignore Quran and focus more upon historical events. Every single shia when i give them Quranic evidences for the status of the sahaba they ignore the verses and start quoting history.

I've been brought up in an iraqi shia houshold
However we were never really religious,
My parents prayed and that's it
They didn't teach me a lot about islam
I don't understand shia, it seems as though shia started drama by saying ali should be not abu bakr
