We are one. We don't have any divisions. La Ilaha Illal Lahu Mohammdar Rasoolallah.

I am a Sunni and I also love Hussein AS and Ali AS and everyone of the Ahlul Bayt but the most important person of them all is our Prophet Muhammad SAW

i once wanted to become a muslim. i asked my muslim friends to help me, which they all did. after so many of my questions answered, i was confident enough to attend a local mosque for friday prayer. a few days before i asked the many who helped me my last question: _"when i attend the mosque, i may be asked what i am, a sunni or shia, what do i answer?"_ this question ignited all who helped me to argue with such hatred that shocked me to the point where i lost faith in islam. i didnt know there was divison, to the point where i veered for some time until i returned to announce which side i was to choose. i chose neither sunni or shia, i am a muslim.

Alhamdulillah I reverted for more than a month. Love learning about our religion. With regards the division as advice in Quran I choose to respect all. Inshallah may there be respect for all of us. We are one UMMAH. The same reason I reverted. No rich or poor in Allah's eyes we are his slaves and should focus on him. ❤❤❤

As a Shia I can say that this is the best lecture I have heard from a sunni scholar on this topic. May allah guide us all.

I am a revert to Islam many years ago.
I was always very hurt and confused by the division.
But I came to slowly understand it better, but not completely. Your explanation is of great value to me Alhamdullilahdullilah.
I love Allah( SWT) and our beloved Phrophet (PBUH) and the Ahleibhat.

I am grateful for your Lecture.
I am a Sunni and have Respect for our Ummah.May Allah ( SWT) guide us all.
My Familie observes Muharam and are very saddened . We must unite and be understanding to each other.
Ya Allah please Guide us Ameen🤲

I really enjoyed this lecture. I am what is referred to as a revert to Islam. I live in a area of the US with a very small Muslim community. Essentially I found islam by researching islam online listening to various speakers. So clarification in an unbiased way was very helpful. Mashallah I'm thankful for this lecture alhamdulillah.

My daughter had asked me about shia because she met a shii imam whose position is like that of br. Yasir, I had explained the same things. Now I have sent this link to her . Very helpful. Young generation should listen to it.

As a Shia person, all respect for you. Tolerance and acceptance are the way forward, Our Allah is one, our Quran is one, and our Prophet Mohamad Salla Allah 3aleh Wasalm is what unites us.

I am a Shia from Pakistan and I am noding up and down whole lecture, very true and unbiased talk about both sects, Jazkallah khair. If half of scholars think and talk like you Muslim can become one ummah.

I'm a shia Muslim and love the way you explained everything. The only way we can be united is if we understand our differences and respect each other's beliefs. To live and let live at the end of the day we are only humans and can have differences of opinion. I thank you so much for this effort and honesty l wish we have more knowledgeable scholars to enlightening. I love all my sunni brother's. I was never thought by my parents or in our mosque to disrespect anyone of my sunni brother's or thier Khalifa's. I always have respect for them for me its just a difference of opinions. Peace to all of you.

What matters most is that we believed in one Allah and Prophet Mohammad is the last messenger of Allah.

Thank you for this lecture. 30 yrs revert Sunni, not knowing of differences then, have always wondered about the dilemma. Great to hear this analysis without defaming one or the other. A thin line to navigate on.

Shia viewer here 🙋‍♀️
Thank you! For being so respectful to our beliefs. If only more scholars were like you. I’ve heard soo many Sunni scholars be extremely disrespect and give out misinformation about Shias to fuel hatred between the 2 sects. These differences should be respected but should never be a cause for disunity within the Ummah!

A beautiful educational polite and factual response. Let’s focus on the similarities ❤ rather than the differences between us. At the end of the day we are one Ummah. ❤

I m a sunni n came across this video first time watching vc of sh yasir. It gives me new perspective in how i view the shia believers.
Long story short we all worship the same god, followers of Muhammad saw puh, pray facing the sama qibla etc.
No matter which sects we r in, make sure after every solah we seek from Allah to accept our prayers n doas, show us the right path towards jannahtul firdaus.
Tqvm bro Sh Yasir, may Allah swt bless u.
